Popular Post Yousei Reiketsu Posted February 27, 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted February 27, 2020 Hayashi Attire Concept By: Yousei Reiketsu *Edited December 19, 2020* I was playing around with some concepts lately, After seeing a lot of the clans attires recently being imported into the servers I was inspired to attempt to make something neat of my own. The concept above derives from many vast inspirations. In this post Ill be breaking down each piece while providing additional backgrounds upon what slots are these concepts intended to fill, a brief description of them, as well as a little bit f background upon the process in which how these pieces came to be. Hope you enjoy them. Attire Components Name: Hayashi Top Slot: Chest Brief Description: The black mane around the neck is one of the most notable features of the kinsmen within the Hayashi Clan. Additionally, these shinobi commonly wear a charm for good luck before dispatching in hunting units. Background: This whole concept was actually inspired by Nova in Tite Kubo's Bleach-verse. Nova doesn't get much love considering hes in the most forgetful bleach arc, the Bount Saga, and therefore not too many people know he exists. All the same, he has a neat design and instantly wanted to mimic the shoulder-fur. In terms of lore, Hayashi are kinsmen who derive from the forest. The whole primal look suits them in this aspect I felt. Taking a bit of modern culture as well, mimicking that of a lion and lioness who is commonly regarded as the sybolic "kings of the jungle". The male deviant has the mane just as a male lion would and the female simply remains mane-less nonetheless it doesn't undermind her carefree look. Name: Hayashi Bottoms Slot: Legs Brief Description: An unrobed kimono that drapes below the waist of its wearer. Shinobi within the Hayashi Clan commonly wear their kimimono's this way for more versatility. Background: This was based off of kimimaro's robe and how he unveiled it, for more versatility. Keeping in theme with, forest based shinobi, the whole concept of the outfit was to depict an attire that promoted freeness, rather than layers upon layers. This clan didn't mind getting down and dirty essentially due to its customs of, "living by the hunt". In other words, these shinobi prefer and/or are willing to take a more physical approach no matter how dire the circumstances. Name: Hayashi Toothpick Slot: Accessory Brief Description: The toothpick is the signature component of shinobi within the Hayashi Clan, seeing as it minimizes their common habit of chewing. Background: After finishing both the top and the bottom, the attire looked extremely busy and needed some sort of synergy while remaining true to the concept that the Hayashi Clan adverts. The idea of having a toothpick actually came from @Wolfskin Reiketsu which I felt was simple and charming to the whole idea of, "shinobi that derive from the forest". The hard part as you may have noticed, was actually making the darn thing. Even with referencing the "Cig", still didn't quite get it where I wanted it but It was fine. I understand backplate looks cool but it has no feeling to it being a Clan clothing for Hayashi no logo at all whilst the rest of Leaf Clans do.
