Leaf Village NEEDS a Weapon !

Yano

Question

I know this may have been talked about in the past.. and if it has been I want to bring it back up

Whether or not people want to admit it.. leaf is a village that takes pure skill.. we don't have a aimbot Fan that snares every 2 secs.. or a Instant poisoning WATER PRISON pipe. We don't even have a stick to run at ninjas with or some kind of pebble to throw at them, literally NOTHING and I see it as a massive disadvantage especially with others villages orgs being people running with boomsticks and godzilla puppets but that's a topic for another day.  : )
 Enough Rambling.. lets start .

Chakra Based Weaponry

Chakra Blades:  (Melee/Close-Mid Range)
A sharp Knuckle Blade with the abilty to absorb the users chakra for added lethality, in the right hands this can be a very useful .
Attack style: Sends out a wave of Chakra in a straight line(basically a downgraded hiramekarei), slicing them for bleed 1 DOT if critical .
Range: 1-2 tiles
Scaling: Chakra
Dmg: Medium
Attack Speed: Slow
Requirements: Lvl 10, Leaf Village & 20 Chakra

(inability to use taijustu jutsus while equipped)
(Inability to use chk scalpels while equipped)

Chakra Dagger: (Melee)
A weak short dagger infused with users chakra to gain a slight boost in damage and a Major attack speed
Attack Style: Basic sword attack.. but one handed
Range: Basic attack range
Scaling: Chakra
Damage: Low
Attack Speed: Very Fast
Requirements: Lvl 10, Leaf Village & 20 Chakra
(inability to use taijustu jutsus while equipped)
(Inability to use chk scalpels while equipped)

Intelligence Based Weaponry

Rajin Blade: An electric energy sword that originally belonged to the Second Hokage, said to be the sword of the Thunder God.
Attack Style: Sends out a wave of electric energy damaging and immobilizing the target for a very short duration
Range: 1-2 tiles
Scaling: Intelligence
Damage: Very Low
Attack Speed: Very Slow
Requirements: Lvl 10, Leaf Village & 20 Chakra
(inability to use taijustu jutsus while equipped)
(Inability to use chk scalpels while equipped)

Wooden Staff: Nobody knows what the Adamantine Staff does yet.. sooo I cant give a Description but basically a watered down version of whatever it is
(inability to use taijustu jutsus while equipped)
(Inability to use chk scalpels while equipped)

Agility Based Weaponry

Sōshūga: The “Twin Attacking Fangs” are a beautiful pair of nunchucks with handles carved to have the shape of a dragon head at its base.
Attack style: slightly increases damage and extends melee range by 1 tile
Range: 1 tile
Scaling: Agility
Damage: Medium
Attack Speed: Normal
Requirements: Lvl 10, Leaf Village & 20 Agility

Flying Raijin Kunai: A specially crafted Kunai used by the Fourth Hokage and can be seen as the starting point for the Transportation Jutsu that he excelled at.
Attack Style: throwable projectile, if the kunai hits a target it marks the target for 10 seconds.. during this time the user can choose to teleport to the target (ALT+Basic Attack Keybind)
Range: Normal Throwable tool range
Scaling: Agility (higher agility = lower cooldown)
Damage: Little-No Damage

Attack Speed: Instant throw and recall but Medium base cooldown
Requirements: Lvl 10, Leaf Village & 20 Agility

I don't know what's the plans for leaf and if the fact that it doesn't have a weapon is the way that the creator wants the game to be but I hope you take my thoughts into consideration .
If you made it this far, Thank You & I appreciate it .

I don’t mind the weapons being locked to their appropriate masteries but the way I see it is that it kinda balances things out since leaf, by default, always has more players in the village and even newcomers going to leaf. (Except for when there’s a new village). How is 10 pipe users going to take down 20 leaf ninjas? If you’re worried about other things such as tournaments and such, leaf has the strongest 1v1 mastery in the game. I’m not debating whether or not mist and sand have better utilities then leaf because they do. I’m only asking you and everyone to think about the balance in the game within standard population.

PS. If you want a weapon it would have to be a STR based weapon for GF which doesn’t make sense because of Pressure Point Needle

While I do believe leaf is at a  disadvantage the only weapon I can possible agree with is the monkey staff but remember there is a reason Sand and Mist have Fan and Pipe. It's simply because their hidden masteries require it. Fan is rarely used by non wind users especially after lvl30-35 and pipe I have to say is op. I also have a few points to make on this topic.
1)My issue with this topic is that combat in nin should never be even or fair for each side, there should be some kind of upset wiether it's masteries, lvls, village, numbers etc. and that's what keeps this game enjoyable.
2)Adding the weapon just because Sand and Mist have one has no guarantee it would make fights more "balanced" or "fair" in the DZs and I seriously doubt the day will come where a side isnt at a disadvantagein Nin Online.
3)Your making it out as leaf being weak but they have shown time and time again that they can win against fan and pipe even with the "massive disadvantage"
4) While I understand the frustration about going against fan and pipe you yourself made them out to be OP why ask for a weapon on that same level? I always used to say that why ask for something as broken instead of asking for a nerf or making posts about it, it makes zero sense to bash something that's broken then ask for an item to match it's power or counter it. Fan and Pipe are in the game for a reason and instead of asking for a weapon to match it how about asking for a nerf so leaf's "massive disadvantage" is diminished.

These are my thoughts on this whole debate.

Im not calling leaf weak.. its just a state of balance in the game.. Id rather say lock the weapons to their masteries but Rory doesnt want the game that was so I SUGGESTED this option.
When you look at it Sand and Mist both have an added attack in their arsenal no matter what that attack is if you dont see that as an advantage you need new glasses.
I dont think that fan neither bubble needs a nerf.. just create a even playing field .

You're doing god's work spooks, love to see it.

For the sake of game balance it makes no sense for only 2 villages to have access to INSTANT CAST CROWD CONTROL on their basic attack. I understand that its because they have masteries that require it, but that does not change the fact that it is available to all of them. We've yet to see what the staff does because it is so damn rare.

There should never be an even playing field in a game like nin, there should always have up and downs to each side.I never said that they didnt have an advantage I was stating that you saying that leaf has a massive disadvantage is making it out as leaf cant win a fight against them and that leaf has shown that they can win with your so-called massive disadvantage. Why dont you think pipe and fan need a nerf yet you complain about them, it makes no sense. It is much better to nerf thier CCs than to add a weapon for leaf so it can be as broken as sand a mist's weapons. Adding something for leaf so they have a unique weapon is fine but adding it to be broken like fan or pipe isnt

Yeah I am there are supposed to be ups and downs, disadvantages and advantages making everything "fair" in terms of how powerful the weapon would make nin much less fun of a game. If everything was on an even playing field light would be able to dominate in pvp exactly like water and GF would be able to be as good as team fights as earth. So yes nin shouldnt be a game where everyone has the same chance to win in a 1v1 or team fights regardless of mastery or weapon in hand. The fact that there are advantages and disadvantages in this game makes it fun to play

- get the weapon done  ( if u want something added into the game that rory wasnt originally planning on get the art done urself couple weapons, cosmetic, summons, even map were commissioned by players )

- Find a real purpose/reason to it ( put ur heads together with ur leafie homies n ask " why tf would leaf need a whole ass weapon ???" sayin cuz sand n mist has one n they op is not enough of a reason, put RP in the mix find a real purpose and meaning to the weapon "

- convince rory ( Welp now you have ur art done, u have a real reason n the RP behind it Good luck )

- prob aint gon be added anyways ( nice try, atleast the art could be used for something else. )

I like how you said Sand gets Fan, Mist gets pipe. So Leaf deserves 6 exclusive weapons cuz we dont have pipe or fan XD

What about Missing Nin?

A player writes up a suggestion piece on the forum. He lists things he thinks would be cool for the game he is clearly passionate about. Is the above really the appropriate reaction of a GM?

Missing Nin have access to their villages weapons, that argument doesn't make sense. Lets not pretend the game design for the past year has had anything to do with pvp balance. As long as we acknowledge that, so be it.

Balanced:

The weapon of the HIdden Leaf Village is the ability to have a constant stream of new players to naturally grow and replenish their ranks as current villagers leave or reset.

Look what happened to mist a few months ago after the vast majority of its players left or went rogue. It was a husk of a village that struggled to gain members for a time.

Leaf Village doesn't need a weapon , because you have a gentle fist. This is the FIST technique. Sand and mist has a hidden weapon because the HIDDEN ! masteries require it, and the fact that people abusing HIDDEN WEAPONS is another matter.

can people without gentle fist mastery use pressure point technique or "THE FIST" as a weapon ? The state of people abusing hidden weapons will never change because the creator said that he doesnt want the weapons to be mastery locked..
