It is upsetting as a player to hear things like, "Oh, there are only 4 of those in the game. It will cost 500k or more to buy if that person wants to sell it." Farming bosses should give you some sense of progression. For instance, each time I kill the dark monkey, it should drop a token, and then after 150 tokens, I can buy the weapon. This would create a better player experience for farming and would also help balance out the economy. It would still make these weapons rare enough that not everyone will be running around with them but common enough that you dont have to pay 800k for a Kraken hammer. 

This is just an example, but each boss takes about 30 minutes to respawn, so in this example, it would still take 75 hours of grinding (waiting for respawn) to get this weapon. 

I think something in this fashion could work wonders for the game's overall economy and player experience.

I actually think this would be an amazing change to things, i've talked with at least one person who has been farming bosses for weeks with no drop. It had demoralized them and as they always say, where there's one there's many more like them.

It would also help literally every player aspiring to be a tai mastery, cause the most basic version of weapons for them costs like 100k ryo in game from players. Or you gotta get a group and catch the boss not being farmed by 10 other groups doing what you are doing.

aye i feel that farming bosses aint easy sometiems u spend 30-40 mins farming 1 boss for it to drop absolute nothing not even a blank thus when player do get lucky and drop it the price is real and rightly so but i truely belive bosses should drop loot chest or something to give players something man but i aint gunna get on my soap box concerning mobs and bosses but they do need a drastic change cuz most of the time you just wasting effort and tools and even you peronal time for nothing.

This is why I think tokens aren't a bad idea even if the amount is increased. Say you kill the boss once a day for 150 day you will then get the weapon. Or even you purchase an uncharged weapons with tokens and you have to use other materials that drop from the boss that charges the weapon and brings it to full power. I just want something for my time.
