Future Nin Events!

Hey there!

I wanna hear some ideas you guys have and thoughts on what you would like to see for future events in Nin.
Go ahead and post em up!

(Try to put some details on how it would work and ill see what i can do!)

A 'Cube' THemed maze set of maps. Different rooms with tiles like in the wind chimes mission house, that damage players who go into the room. Or kill them outright near the end.

Winner would be the faster clear times, or last team standing

Huge warmap with 2 astles at eah end and a huge forest with a small bridge at the middle.the astle wil have a scroll of the one team the key is to get the scroll before the other team does get back to there castle and the forest has randomly located traps that effect both teams. the team will be split into 2 groups both having eah defenders and attackers the winner is the team that get the scroll to there team castle entrance.

I'd love to see a split or steal type event, I think it would be hilarious. 

For those that don't know, this is split or steal. You have a prize, say 1,000 ryo. You have two contestants that can either split that prize between each other, or steal from the other contestant. If both players split, both players gain 500 ryo. If one player steals, and the other splits, the stealing player gains 1,000 ryo. If both players steal, they get nothing. 

 

Again, I just think this would be funny.

Race/Obstacle Course. A long map filled with traps, triggers that slow, snare or stun players also walls that spawn that can block people. Could be a time limit type thing to where you have a certain amount of time to get to the end and receive a reward or could be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd type thing where after the 3rd place winner is pick the race is over. Rewards could be multiple choice between ryo, exp or rare item you can only get by winning the race or even a rare item that can only be picked if you get like 10 wins in 1st place :)  this way if a non-max level player wins they can pick exp to help them level :)

Fear not for the Event Specialist of Nin Online, Prince Nik, Son of Dyan the 8th is here to solve all of your hunger for new events

For starters, something I really want to see on Nin Online is Nin Online Football.

Nin Online Football

>Create a really big map like Big Desert but with a lot of grass and paint it like a football field.
>For passes and throws, apply the concept of dodgeball and Capture the Bell Event
     >Instead of running away from the football you must run to it and try to catch it if that wasn't obvious and then attempt to reach the other side
           > Apply out of bounds concept
              >Just melee instead of tackle
      >Icon indicator stating who has the ball
      >GM as Coach
      >Divide playerbase into two teams randomly for fairness
 
Nin Online 10 vs 10 Bracket Tournament

Put a bunch of random people into groups that must work together in order to achieve a common goal, defeating the enemy. The team that wins gets the reward and moves on to the next round.

Nin Online Freezehud Tag

Everyone must try to run away from Freezehud and if Freezehud melees them they lose. Of course, I meant Freeze Tag but I couldn't help punning my Kazekage.

Nin Online Shootout Event

Everyone thinks they are a gangster. Literally just dodgeball but with glocks from the Christmas Event.

Idea for automatic cycle event
WAR TIME

Change every danger zone in to War Zone for one hour, happen randomly once per day,
Meanwhile this event, every kill will counted twice for mission's like Waging war and Cold blood killer,


maybe bounty gained and increased too but not sure.

Here's what i thought about, it's gonna require quite some work so 

-There should be a map designed specifically for this event
- for players to enter they should get a temporary hooded robe and Orange mask 
- every player should spawn in a random spot in the map after entering it.
- Supplies should spawn after the event started, the later into the game the better the supplies get ex ( 5 mins in -> supply boxes contain 1 blue n red pills// 15 mins in -> supply boxes contain 1 toad oil 3 blue 3 red pills) supply boxes can contain tools too
- Every consumable  and drop able on death items such as org buffs in your inventory will be lost as soon as you enter the event map.
- any item acquired inside the event map will be lost as soon as you leave it.




Heres a quick 5 min horrible sketch of what the vent map could look like

_ Players will randomly spawn on one of the red stars when entering the map
- The map is a no zone until the event starts then it changes to a war zone
- There are 4 zones  --> Circle one --> Circle 2 -> Pentagon ->  Rectangle.
- every five/ten minutes every survivor should  all be in the next zone  by crossing in where the green arrows are starting from Circle one.
- With the help of the new furniture system  all entrances to the zone should be blocked either by the GM hosting the event or automatically if possible after the time to cross to that zone is up.
-  it should go like this  >>>> 10 mins after event start an announcement should tell all players to move out of Circle one and they have 1 minute to do so, anyone who fails to leave circle one should get eliminated. 10 mins later repeat the same process with circle 2, then Pentagon and the last survivors will battle it out in the rectangle.
- The purple triangles are where bosses/mini bosses will spawn 
- circle one mini bosses respawn CD should b around 3~ minutes || Circle two about 5 mins || Pentagon boss 20 mins

- Circle one and 2 bosses should drop items like temporary stat buff items  example: Purple pill that increases your Intellect by 20 for 60 seconds. There should be a variety of these to be dropped and these items should be droppable on death, so it works like a loot bag 
- Pentagon boss has a chance to Drop a rare weapon with no stats requirement and more stat increasing items + items that gives you Movement speed or vulnerability. example ( Red oil increases your movement speed for 30 secs making you move faster ) ( pure chakra potion that gives you chakra regen for a period of time ) ( potion that gives you invulnerability for a very short period 2 or 3 secs) 
- all items acquired during the event drops on death including weapons and consumables, anyone who picks them up can use them. 
- the event map should be well mixed with water/river areas forests areas, rocky areas, foggy  and more. Al that to make room for for players that have different kind of playstyle n masteries to play around and work out amazing strategies.

With the risk of repeat from above mentioned ideas,
I love the idea of obstacle courses, either.. every player has to select a path, the path will lead towards an entrance to a new map. 
The new map is a small room (pretty much like the snake lair rooms) for 1v1 battles. - The winner signals the victory and gets placed on a new path. 
Rinse and repeat until only one player is left.

Another idea with much less effort. Just have 4-8 people name a number of 1-40 on /roll.  2-4 with the higher numbers pass, others drop out.
It's a gamble, but its simple and fair. (Unless you sold your luck to Elmo)

And last, simple:
It's a spiced up PvP battle:
You got 2v2 or 4v4. In the center of the arena is a classic 1v1, outside the arena are teammates that are able to throw 1 tile dodgeballs (slow version) to spice it up. If one person gets knocked out, a teammate takes the spot.

FFA would be similar, everyone who drops out, can attack the center people with border attacks of the same type.

 

Hope it wasn't too... cryptic. My english never was that usefull. 😛

Football.

World Cup is close so a football event will be great . 3v3 in which there will be a ball which can be picked if u step on it. Everyone has shruikens or any other throwables which 1 shot the other team player. So u have to score a goal by passing the ball while dodging the shruikens( Just like DBE). Also, while dribbling the ball, u can not throw shruikens, instead it passes the ball for like 5 tiles. And once you die, you respawn after 3 seconds from base. The first team to score 2 goals wins the match.
