[Suggestion] Antibodies Jutsu needs a rework

It actually is 45 seconds long. Ueda buffed it a while ago in this way as well as making the health gain more early on while at max less than before.

I'd personally love to see it last longer or be a self cast. It still needs improvements, however it is a buff and cursed chakra seal is also a buff which makes sense of why it is within the int group of medic jutsus

As far as I knew it was 30s, thanks for the info, but still, 45s feels a little bit shorter, and the fact that it is INT based instead of CHK based makes no sense

Maybe they could also make the amount of HP boosted scale with the user's chakra instead of the target's fortitude. (also increase the percentage substantially) so pure medics could consider on taking this jutsu to the battlefield.

Indeed! Making the stat req be chakra too instead of INT would be the right move, since it is a more support-like style (chakra medic) than an offensive one (Intellect medic)

Antibodies is a buff not a heal. It is closer to cursed seal than any of the healing jutsus. It would be interesting to have it scale off chakra, but the small int investment isn't a determinant to a chak med.

Still, makes no sense that a combat medic is going to boost the Fortitude of an ally instead of chakra medic, it is a more-supportive jutsu than offensive, and since CHK medic is the supportive branch, why not put that jutsu on their loadout? Chakra medic already has just a few jutsus

Remove it all together. Useless jutsu no matter how you look at it because of how situational it is.

Interesting idea for replacement:

Barrier Jutsu - Barrier Tag's big brother that does a far better job and scales barrier's HP with chakra.

This would already see far more use than antibodies and would be viable in all sorts of situations because it is a good jutsu for a chakra medic to have.

The concept of antibodies isn’t bad: Making a stronger frontlane/making your DPS a little bit tankier, but it isnt making as much impact on fights as how it should, the % buffed should scale with chakra instead of beeing a flat ammount (Just like how @Adarya said) and it should be a CHK jutsu, not INT required, if it lasts for longet (1m+), it’d enable way more plays around the buffed ninjas

It will still remain as a one time use jutsu you would cast before mapswitching. It's incredibly boring no matter how you look at it. You can cast heals on top of the engager and it won't be much of a difference between that and antibodies.

This is why making it longer and chk based would change it’s use overall, just a few fixes to bring it back to the chk medic’s loadout

Tbh its good where it stands other than its duration, its a 22% bonus to the targets fortitude. the reason it scales off the targets fort is so high chak meds with 250chakra can't add like 500hp to someone so instead its meant to be a small supportive jutsu. Can say the fact buffs don't auto give you the hp though is its biggest downfall, this makes it so you have to heal the person you just gave more hp for the hp to even matter. if it was a longer duration say 120seconds it would be a super good support jutsu cause unless its like a 5v1, fights usually last longer than a small 45 seconds.

Increase its Cooldown to say 130seconds
Increase Duration to 120 seconds
Keep the Percentile the same (18-20-22)
Rework it to make it a dual stat jutsu in which you need 15int and lets say 80-100 chakra since it primarily is just a support jutsu and the reason intmedics are so crazy is because they have that int cc and all the other supportive jutsu of meds like treat wounds, cell regen, and rev.

Casting this form of antibodies on any properly built person with atleast 1k hp or more would be a great asset in battles as it would gain the target 200+ hp for 2mins which obvi isn't the duration of a whole fight sometimes but would atleast make it more useful and medics would cast it more.

Critique the idea if you want, woke up like 30mins ago and figured I'd check forums 💀
