Just wanted to find out areas in the game that can be improved. A lot of my friends have stopped playing and a lot of people have noticed the player based has dwindled again. If we throw this game at steam it's going to do awful in the reviews. (If you go to the community discussion on steam it's already being slammed)

Forgot to mention but if there's something that has bothered you that's not on the list, feel free to comment it.

Since October at least, we've been monitoring the average amount of players online at all given periods of time, as well as the peaks of each day, and as far as our statistics show, the game's activity is not dwindling.

I think as much as there are players that stop playing (that's normal) and those are usually people you know, we have a healthy amount more players joining, they may not be your friends yet or they may not even be actively participating in community activities, but they are there. If you search the forums (some posts are archived and gone though) you'll find posts like this about how Nin Online is dying, every couple of months dating back to 2014 even. There's always this sense of impending doom, but player base has grown steadily over time.

Also, I went to look at the Steam community discussions like you said and instead of seeing it "already being slammed". I just saw angry people who got banned and general requests.

and the rest of it is requests and being positive

Looking forward to the game

I don't think people need to worry too much. We've put a lot of warnings on the Steam page that describe the game as it is, if people still feel lied to and feel the need to review it badly, I'm open to that criticism, and it doesn't matter too much what the rating is in my opinion. The reason I want Nin Online on steam is mainly the ease for people to access the game if they want to (updater and stuff update in the background, so the game will always be ready to play when you login) and anti-cheat.

The game itself isnt boring. I really find joy connecting into the game, doing spars as long as its no flying raijin carried (flicker)

The game progress this year was really impressive.

-  A new client, new possibilities due to this new client with an amazing improvement to the fps and connection,

- more art for items

- Houses even tho they currently look like a ryo and irl money loss

- A GORGEOUS lightning system that makes the game look awesome

- HAIR COLOR CHANGE UPDATE

- Little enjoyable things like being able to chose your title, write a little comment after activating a world blessing etc etc..

Nin HAS gotten way better than it used to be even tho it wasnt stricly about PVP which is the only thing we ''notice''.

- We still got updates like this really needed Weapon master nerf

- This taijutsu damage nerf and change to agi now working with weapons.

- VILLAGE WEAPONS ARE NOW RESTRICTED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE ELEMENTS!

I am sure that more is coming and it will make a better game. cough Nerf medic cough

I love the game and I see many changes, which are exciting, but I do think it's a little unfriendly for new or returning players because they are not up to date with the updates and modifications. I wish there was an official tutorial for new players, which would be updated every time if any significant changes are made.

+ I wish there was more content. Specifically, Rp content. I really do think it would be nice if the Rp content would be worked on and have some changes/additions.

For instance, player interaction. I've noticed that the devs were implementing new systems, such as auto-tournaments/events.
However, I thought it would also be nice if it could also be in a form where players are free to participate for fun, increasing the interaction/flexibility without relying on the GMS and every other events.

Ex.) An Rp NPC like the ones in mission room, but in a different destination. RP missions that are given for fun but also can give certain rewards, exp. But these missions are done in a different map that you are teleported to.

[Mission: You are a genin in a team of 3 and got lost in the woods. You encounter an enemy's trap and have to escape safely through the hidden escape tag without getting caught by the enemy near by!]
So and so forth, with given RP scenarios and often meet another RP team that you may have to fight or mobs, npcs.
This is just a quick example that's poorly done, but I really would like the RP aspect to be worked on.

Being able to play dodgeball just for fun against ur friends would be nice as well. Reward or not. I feel like this would also make the dodgeball tournament more interesting when hosted!
Like a dodgeball NPC in a specific location that are not in villages.  You can talk to the NPC and get teleported to the dodgeball map and play with ur friends. It can be done like the boat at mist with a set timing of waiting 10~30 seconds before getting teleported.
The dodgeball map can be just a random map with just a plain floor split into half. Players can pick a side to join by hitting the door red or blue. & then just play. Or can use the original dodgeball map, which doesn't matter but I wanted to give an example.

Matter of fact it would be nice to make a new map just for RP related contents, missions, etc. Like a "playzone/RP zone".
When you enter that map you can see the dodgeball NPC, RP Npc, etc.
The RP Npc can give you a mission to kill a zombie or wolf at the south of the map or whatever, but the drop in the "RP zone" would be like certain currencies or candies, etc. You can gamble with the candy or try to get a reward from the reward NPC at the casino.
I personally feel like Tanzuku isn't really utilized properly. It would be a great "playzone map". It's just that the location isn't fitting to be a playzone for all the players.

This was me just going on about my random ideas, but I do think it would be nice to start with the dodgeball NPC and so on. Where players can play together freely. There can also be a NPC for PVP matching up players randomly with an official ranking system. That can also be in the playzone map later on. There's so much we can do and so much potential in the game. It's always exciting to see it improving!

++ forgot to mention but for the RP NPC there could also be a form where you have teamfights. 3v3, 4v4 with a given scenario. or even. a war map would be fun too. where you pick a side and whatever village, you can fight against the players in the map with a given scenario as a team. EX.) catch the flag and whoever has the flag by the end of the time wins. Blue team and red team fights for the flag, the dead person drops it. They respawn automatically when they die, with a given time of certain seconds of "time out" before rejoining.
This can be done against no limit of 2 huge teams or 4 different flag sections representing the village or whatever works. & the teams have to fight against each other trying to obtain the flag. etc. etc,

I can go on and on. Please read this Ueda ;-;

WM don't need another nerf. What would you even nerf on them? Damage? Swords increase WM damage not WM itself so if anything would be nerfed it would be swords base damage.

More so Str WM Kit needs changing on its jutsus. The way the kit is and the difficulty with landing the other jutsus like shockwave slash, Beheading, blade piercing, and wild slashes it makes no sense to use them. This is why you see flicker melee/melee, and the 2 homing skills used more than anything in the kit.

I feel its time to introduce dashes to Nin to replace of some of the stagnant WM jutsus and maybe even taijutsu.

Its still stop tier mastery. I do not think that much nerfs needs to happen but you have to stop trying to make people think its a weak and hard to play mastery. Its the second easiest in game. There is a reason why everyone goes for it. Youre in the same boat.
