If you planned to add the puppets in the game, its would be cool of the faires like a weapon, it is on that its should not be easy to set up .. but its could be nice to have its puppet Personalized ^^  

And its could be cool for the cosmetic if the puppet (s) is in the back of the character as a weapon!

example like that

The way I see puppetry working is you buy or build a puppet and it will be dependent on the strangth stat and you would control the puppet with maybe the arrow keys

Yes it would be great to know if the Puppeteer sub class is available the 14th? Or if they will come in later.

We have had talks about this in the past, but nothing concrete yet.
Feel free to suggest mechanics for it :)

Here are some basic ideas:

1. Puppets can be bought(for now, as the game is still in it's early stages) or later on built which requires you to buy parts.

2. To assemble the puppets you go to puppet master and the rate of success will determine on the puppet's level just like Kuno.(however the puppet master will atempt three times before destroying the incomplete puppet out of rage ;-D )

3. Puppets will have to be made their own build with user's stat points. 1 stat point =5-10 puppet stat points which can be allocated into any of the puppet's 5 stats or saved to get the puppet any of its own technique(although you still have to retrieve the technique from scroll shop and insert inside the puppet, the using of stat points is just to get the ability)

4. Puppet should be a sub path of weapon and and control should be based on chakra. Justus for the sub path will include; chakra threads, summoning(puppet), reverse puppet summoning(substitution with puppet), manipulating attack blades, etc.

5. Puppets users should be able to use chakra threads in battle for traps etc or to trip opponent(short stun)

6. Only jutsu related user's mastery should be able to be sealed in puppet. (Noting talking about puppet jutsu/components, that is different taking about if you want to put a fire jutsu inside your puppet etc.)

7. Puppet should be able to be put on the player cosmetically in two ways:

a. Puppet is wrapped in bandages and hangs on the back of user vertical or diagonal

b. Puppet's arms are wrapped around user's neck and legs around their waist and puppets head his shown on user's shoulder blade.

              OR

c. (Puppet is sealed inside scroll) Like Jiraiya during Sage mode, scroll is hung vertically on the waist. 

8. Level one puppet can not go offscreen. Puppet can be controlled with mouse and arrow keys. Once switched to puppet, skill bar will display puppet skills, body flicker, and substitution.

9. Puppet will take 1 chakra every 2 seconds.

10. Any dead ninja on the field can be controlled with Chakra threads for that 60 seconds duration( you can make debuffs on the corpse like movements are 30% slower due to it being a corpse and all attack dmg are reduced 40%, puppet user only has a 50% chance of success for jutsus that are not his Mastery or corpses can only be used for melee etc.)

I see the puppets attack more like a oriana style( league of legend) you throw it and make attack wit it. Controling it would be way too hard.

it could be nice... we will need practise!
