(As of May 26, 2018 this system no longer exists. Thank you to those who've participated, it was a good test-run and we've managed to learn somethings for the future) The Hidden Leaf Village will initiate a rank-based system with permanent teams after the Chunin Exam V in April. After meetings with the Higher-up of the Hidden Leaf Village, I've decided to implement permanent Genin teams for Chunin Ranked individuals. The way this will work is, Chunins will be asked to lead a team of 3 Genins, and the Chunins are expected to lead all three past the Chunin Exams. I will be forming teams after Chunin Exam V using all the listed names I received prior to the exam. This plan will ask for the following ranks to... Jonins - The Jonins of the Hidden Leaf Village will not only be required to fulfill their basic duties such as serve as commanders in the battlefield but will also be asked to oversee the Chunins and ensure everything goes as planned. (Also important to note Jonins would be priority to be picked as leaders of official organizations, and Specialized Jonins would ideally assist as Co-Leaders. Specializied Jonins - Specialized Jonins will be asked to assist Jonins, but their main duties will fall into official organizations within Leaf (Leaf Military Police Force, Medical Elite Division & Leaf's Intelligence Division). (Note Specialized Jonins are unable to lead a team) Chunins - Chunins will be required to lead a permanent team of 3 members (By permanent I mean till all 3 of their assigned Genins pass the exam). Genins - Genins are to submit team requests to me (Via Forums, In-game or Discord) before the Chunin Exam V. (As we work our way up with more ranked people RP Titles like Council and high-positions in organizations will be soon requiring ranks) Hidden Leaf's Official Organizations: Medical Elite Division - https://www.ninonline.org/forum/index.php?/gc/33-medical-elite-division/ Leaf Military Police Force - (Soon) If you wish to know more about Ranks & Titles make sure to review the post inserted below - More information about this Team System will be on this post in form of a reply below. It'll include Team Swap requests, Team Replacements (due to inactivity) etc.. Compatibility will be a priority when deciding teams things such as language, levels, masteries, activitiy, and timezone will all be accounted for. Best Regards, Third Hokage and The Hidden Leaf's Council™

Snow Field maps now use new Additive/Subtractive rendering mode to give bright effect instead of normal rendering. Giving a more vibrant and less washed out look! Added Bee Hives that drop Honey Combs. Added Bee Infestation and Hornet Infestation daily missions! Fixed Takumi River being an indoor map.

Added additive and subtractive rendering for many parts of the game engine. This will allow us to apply fancy effects such as what the light uses currently. Fix donator color when relog for Server Bless. Add 250ms duration to base animation and spells. This is to prevent animations from not playing if your ping is low.

(As of May 26, 2018 this system no longer exists. Thank you to those who've participated, it was a good test-run and we've managed to learn something for the future. So instead the information in the reply below was replaced with team rosters obtained from all Chunin Exams within my term) All Genins must submit a Team Request application to me (before Chunin Exam V) and respond to the following questions in the application: Username - Timezone - Level - Masteries - Language(s) - Other details: Interests, combat style and brief introduction (Optional but highly recommended) - Preferred teammates and why (Optional) - (Again you can reach me in-game, on forums and discord Via PM).

The Hidden Leaf's Village Rule Book It is forbidden to aid the enemy in any form of way that would endanger or give them an advantage against the Leaf. Giving the enemy information regarding the Leaf is prohibited. Do not assist an enemy “friendly” or Missing-Ninja “friendly” if he is under attack by our ninjas. This rule can be overriden by orders from a Ranked Ninja. You must always help a comrade if he/she is under attack by enemies. It's up to the individual if he wants to kill a “friendly” outsider. One must not question the decision made by the individual as long as it follows the rules. This rule can be overriden by a Ranked Ninja. Do not place a bounty on a comrade. Respect and follow orders from higher ranked shinobis of your village. Leaf Ninjas must abide by the terms set by the Hokage and Council with other villages. Do not intentionally steal from another Leaf ninja. If you have an argument with a villager, try to solve it respectfully, if unable to come to an agreement contact your superiors. (If it's escalated go to GMs, not us) Do not wear any identity concealing items inside the Leaf without permission. The only exception is the ANBU within the Leaf. (Review section below for more information) The Hokage’s orders are absolute, you must follow and respect them. Do not attack ninjas who are on the peaceful/pardon-in-process list. ( In cases of people attacking a ninja from List because he did not know, it will be given a warning. If you keep attacking one even after being warned, you will be jailed ) (This rule is to clarify that even if you reset your history will remain intact so if you were considered a Leaf Criminal, it will be held against you) Killing or Attacking other Leaf ninjas is forbidden. (This rule does not apply to spars, tournaments, village free for alls, etc. If all parties do not consent to a fight, do not attack them) It is prohibited to invite a known enemy of the Leaf to Leaf territory whether it be for sparring or otherwise (unless authorized the Kage or Council). Note: you are free to hang out and do spars with anyone everywhere else besides leaf territory (between Leaf Statues and Mini-bridge) regardless who it is. Do no intentionally deceive or make a false statement that is material to the criminal investigation of a crime to a LMPF official. Tai Water FTW. If you go missing... A short reminder - you are betraying our village. Unless you're leaving as a hermit, after getting approval from Hokage and the Council prior to leaving (even then depending on what is decided for you, points may apply) or get Council and Hokage's approval. (The point may apply) A condition of a pardon that's close to the CE can lead to rejected upon entry to the upcoming Chunin Exam (if you were to be pardoned). Although it's possible as a recent pardon a few days after an exam, you're able to meet the demands of the Council and Hokage you can be allowed to take the Chunin Exam. If you wish to be pardoned you must keep in mind that if the strikes you received were of very high-level rules you've reached a dead end. If you had broken low-level rules there's a chance you could possibly be considered but in all pardons, you will receive a certain punishment. With that being said also keep in mind your actions as a Missing-Ninja would also be counted. The One Chance Policy states those who have broken low-level rules, or have chosen the path of a Missing-Ninja, will only receive 1 Chance, you cannot let it go to waste because it will be your last, if you were to go missing again you've reached a dead-end. Also note that not everyone is entitled to a chance under this policy. Final decision will rest on the Council and Hokage to determine whether someone will be given their one chance or not. Flag System is the punishment for people that left the Village and became criminals. Getting the One Chance Policy, the pardoned ninja will be FLAGGED for a month. FLAGGED People are not able to join any official organizations and events ( CE ) and also are at 2/3 Strikes for a month. That rule will be applied so people can prove their loyalty and trust back in Leaf. In cases that you may get jailed while FLAGGED, your case will be reviewed and it will be decided if you will get exiled or not. These rules were passed by the Hidden Leaf's 2nd Official Council and 3rd Hokage. There are no guarantees that this system will remain the same. It will be passed down and changes to the way Leaf systems were/are should be highly expected from future generations of leaders. 2nd Official Council - @Caio@Ishyn Sasayaki& @Hawt The Third Hokage - @Deathmall Sasayaki *There rules have been updated and changed by: 3rd Official Council- @Atrane @Leevi Sasayaki & @Arashi The Forth Hokage - @Ishyn Sasayaki *These rules have been reviewed and updated by: 4th Official Council - @Corgee Sasayaki @Jellal Kuraen & @Sour Suwa The Fifth Hokage - @Fritzo *These rules have been reviewed and updated by: 5th Official Council - @Kuraen Elodin @Hoseki & @Yousei Reiketsu The Sixth Hokage - @Kuraen Vali *These rules have been reviewed and updated by: 6th Official Council - @Raw @Ljones & @Charky The Seventh Hokage - @Shotoho *These rules have been reviewed and updated by: 6th Official Council - @Raw @Ljones & @Charky The Eighth Hokage - @Kuraen MacDom

Leaf's Peaceful List Diary Fox Dre Idalia Chopza Kyodo God Knows "Kazoku" organization Leaf's Pardon in-Process List Ryouk Side Note - It is not possible to be a self-proclaimed hermit. You must be approved by Council (Including Kage). It may take some time for your case to be responded to. If the reasons you give to become a hermit are not solid you will not be granted it. (Requesting hermit status before has a higher chance of getting into the list rather than after) Coming back to the village will also be easier should you decide to do so if you were approved as a hermit prior to leaving. **No loitering inside the Leaf Village. **The Peaceful list is meant to aid friendly missing ninja on completing missions and assisting Leaf during raids and defense scenarios. **Peaceful list members are only permitted to spar in the training ground map. (Pardon in-Process List excluded) **Being on that list does not protect you from enemy factions. Also notice that, attacking a Leaf Ninja or another member of the Peaceful list, while being on that list, would lead you out of it and you lose your one chance. **If you get attacked by a Leaf ninja or someone on the Peaceful list, while being on that list you should send a proof to the officials. Attacking them back could put the blame on you. **In case you change your in-game name make sure to inform The Council or the Hokage so that we can update the list accordingly. **Depending on inactivity, the Council and the Hokage may decide to remove you from the list at any time. *These rules have been updated and changed by:5th Official Council- @Kuraen Elodin @Hoseki & @Yousei Reiketsu The Sixth Hokage - @Kuraen Vali *These rules have been updated and changed by: 6th Official Council - @Raw @Ljones & @Charky The Seventh Hokage - @Shotoho

The Rule Book's Strike System Currently, the Leaf Village is using the three strike system for exiles. This reply is meant to clarify how many strikes one would receive after breaking certain rules and also taking into account some possible circumstances (although all may not be stated). The # of the rule from the post above will be mentioned with the # of strikes one would get for breaking it along with certain circumstances that may change the # of strikes to that specific rule. It is important to know that more is expected from a higher rank. (Note some rules are not mentioned due to them not having an absolute # of strikes for since they are considered too minor. But that does not mean they'll be enforced, they'll add up eventually) With the addition of the LMPF, Jail time will be taking the place of strikes in certain rules. This system will have 3 jail sentences add up to 1 strike. 3 strikes will still lead to an exile. Both LMPF Officers and other players have to respect the rules. Every officer has to fully investigate the crime and with the right proofs he can do the arrest. If you believe that an Officer abused his powers, make sure to report to the LMPF Chiefs, Council or Hokage with enough proofs. Rule #1 - It is forbidden to aid the enemy in any form of way that would endanger or give them an advantage against the Leaf. Reviving the enemy (1, 2 or 3 Strikes Depending on the circumstances) If the enemy is being revived as he approaches Leaf alone. (1 Strikes) If the enemy is being revived during a battle, intentionally. (2 Strikes) Acting with the enemy during their orchestrated raid. (3 Strikes) This rule applies even if the Missing/Sand ninja is considered “friendly”. If they are not on the peaceful list, do not help them. Rule #2 - Giving the enemy information about the Leaf is prohibited. Informing the enemy of a comrade’s whereabouts. (1 Strike+ jail time) Handing the enemy classified information. (2 Strikes+ jail time) Spreading of sensitive information/classified in Leaf. An example of that would be revealing allied masked names that do not want to be revealed. Any information spread about ANBU operations or their identities can result in severe punishment. Rule #3 - Do not assist an enemy “friendly” or Missing-Ninja “friendly” if he is under attack by our ninjas. You will be sentenced to jail time. Amount is depending on the situation.Depending on the situation, strikes will be given as well. Rule #4 - You must always help a comrade if he/she is under attack by enemies. (Jail Time) In critical situations where you are called upon to help, this will lead to 1 strike and Jail time. For example, standing around in leaf square and chatting with enemies at the same time that these enemies are raiding. Rule #5 - It's up to the individual if he wants to kill a “friendly” outsider who is not on the peaceful list. One must not question the decision made by the individual as long as it follows the rules. This rule can be overriden by a Ranked Ninja. Rule #6 - Do not place a bounty on a comrade. (2 strikes + Jail time) Rule #7 - Respect and follow orders from higher ranked shinobis of your village. If you are known to not follow orders and doing so has endangered some of your comrades. (Strikes may vary depending on case) First offense – Jail time (Extreme cases can lead to a strike being added on) Multiple offenses will lead to Jail time with a strike. Rule #8 - Leaf Ninjas must abide by the terms set by the Hokage and Council with other villages or organizations. (1 strike + Jail time) Rule #9 - Do not intentionally steal from other Leaf ninjas. Major crimes such as scamming other leaf ninjas, with evidence, will lead to 2 strikes. Minor crimes such as taking loot that doesn’t belong to you will lead to Jail time. An example of this would be taking a blank scroll from someone else’s kill. Rule #10 - If you have an argument with a villager, try to solve it respectfully, if unable to come to an agreement contact your superiors. (If it's escalated go to GMs, not us) For minor arguments, try to solve them respectfully. Disagreements are okay and help us grow as a village. However, if the conflict should rise to insults, the discussion needs to end. If a Chunin or higher ranked ninja is around and tells you to stop the argument, you are to listen or you will be given jail time. Depending on the circumstances, one or both parties will be given jail time. (Mainly, anyone who continues arguing after told to stop will be given jail time.) Ranked ninjas aren’t always around to stop these incidents so if you feel you are being harassed, our suggestion is to take it to the game masters. This includes general toxicity towards other villagers as well. If you cannot be respectful to others and constantly insult people, jail time will be given. Rule #11 - Do not wear a mask inside the Leaf Territory without permission (lenient on the permission part). The only true exception is the ANBU within the Leaf Village. Boarders are: Leaf Tigers and Mini Bridge. If asked to remove the mask by a high ranked ninja and you refuse to do so it may be punishable. (Jail time) You are only allowed to wear a mask if a high-ranked ninja present knows your true identity. You must ask for his/her permission. You can conceal your identity and maintain it but ensure to abide by terms of ranked ninjas. Doing this will prevent conflicts from ranked ninjas demanding you to reveal yourself. It is important to note that cooperation with each other can only improve how we work together as a village. Rule #12 - The Hokage’s orders are absolute, you must follow and respect them. Disobeying the hokage’s orders once: Jail time Twice: Jail time and 1 strike Third time: Jail time and another strike. This will cause the offender to be exiled. (Being sentenced to Jail 3 times = 1 strike, in addition to the other 2 strikes that were given.) Operations handled by the Hidden Leaf ANBU require you to follow them if necessary. Orders given to the ANBU come directly from the Hokage you must respect them. Jail time will be given for disobeying anbu orders. Rule #13 – Do not attack ninjas on the Leaf Village’s Peaceful/Pardon in Process list.(Keep in mind that if you are assisting Leaf during fights, you may get damage because of the Mass Area jutsus and because of the opposite faction. Such reports will be rejected) Attacking these ninjas will result in jail time. Rule #14 - (This rule is to clarify that even if you reset your history will remain intact so if you were considered a Leaf Criminal, it will be held against you) Resetting an exiled character does not exempt you from the exile. Doing this will only cause Leaf officials to exile your newly reset character. Rule #15 – Killing or attacking other leaf ninjas is forbidden. (This rule does not apply to spars, tournaments, village free for alls, etc. If all parties do not consent to a fight, do not attack them.) Minor incidents such as interrupting a spar will lead to jail time. Major incidents such as actively hunting leaf ninjas in danger or warzones will lead to 2 strikes plus jail time. Rule # 16 - it is prohibited to invite a known enemy of the leaf to leaf territory whether it be for sparring or otherwise. .Note : You are free to hang out and do spars with anyone everywhere else besides leaf territory regardless who it is Those who aren't involved with such activity will not be punished, but they have to report the case to LMPF members or council/hokage with proof (ss) • Breaking this rule will lead to jail time • Breaking the same rule jail time + 1 strike • Repeating the case will serve with a punishment which will lead to an exile Rules #3, #4, & #5 are commonly known for being disregarded in special circumstances, (Jonin, Council, or Hokage) are able to make these calls when the circumstances where other rules can contradict. Situations like (someone goes missing accidentally and a few people try to kill them when they shouldn't be). Or the Hokage has some guests in the village, and the interests of the higher ranks are to ensure the guests are kept alive and well. While this system is in place these two important posts will be used. It is important to remember that low-level strikes may fade after a length of time that'll be decided on case-by-case if appealed. But high-level strike rules will remain permanent to your record as a Leaf. If you have any question please feel free to contact your Council members or the Fourth Hokage. Note: Event Ban Rule: Any person of any rank who gains a strike (1 strike) from breaking village rules shall be banned from the upcoming Chunin Exam. The person will also be banned from any Leaf village events that might be hosted in the 1 month span after the strike was given. . . Summons Rule 1: Do not intentionally attack or kill summons of Leaf villagers without permission from the summoner. (1 jail) Summons Rule 2: Do not use your summon to intentionally attack or kill Leaf villagers without getting permission from the person being attacked *These rules have been reviewed and updated by: 5th Official Council - @Kuraen Elodin @Hoseki & @Yousei Reiketsu The Sixth Hokage - @Kuraen Vali

Dear Ninja, I'd just like to reveal to your the prologue of Nin Online. It will give you a rough idea of what to expect for the in-game storyline and roleplay backstory. Brace yourselves! Prologue Two hundred years have passed since the 4th Shinobi World War, during which the world was saved from a threat to its existence. It is becoming harder for new leaders to honor the alliances made by their predecessors; the bonds formed during the war are becoming unstable and the peace between villages is beginning to grow questionable. Meanwhile, a copycat group who operate under the same name as the Akatsuki has come to light. Initially not viewed as a threat, the organization was allowed to establish itself before anyone could take notice of them. Their objectives are mysterious and their new leader is unknown. Mankind had made progress in changing age old-traditions of sealing the tailed beasts within power ninja. For years they have roamed the world freely and peacefully, but now have started to behave aggressively. The villages fear the beasts may be under someone's control, and are strengthening their defenses to protect their villages from the threat of destruction and the possibility of another war erupting in their time. Born into a generation which has known only peace and has never witnessed war, you start your journey as an academy student about to venture into the world of ninja. Responsibilities come with every decision you make. Will you become a force for peace and exact your justice, or will you descend into darkness and bring this world to an end? Hope you enjoy the quick read, more details on the history and what has happened between the end of the 4th Shinobi World War and the events of Nin Online will be revealed as we get closer to the beta! Regards, Rory
