  1. Why are danger zones dead: No incentive to go out into them. No reason outside of dailies and most get these missions completed by killing alts or buying kills rather than seeking combat. How can danger zones be more active? Rewarding the risk. How? 1. Crafting materials to make your own pills or weapons. 2. More boss spawns with guaranteed loot. Why are Takumi bosses the only ones that guarantee a drop? If I kill a world boss 200 times (Which I have) and have absolutely nothing to show for it, what is my incentive to keep trying? Guaranteed loot tables on bosses are a must for the future of Nin Online. They don't need to be rare drops, but some ryo or crafting materials would be excellent. 3. Delete all danger zones and replace them with war zones. Nobody likes being zerged. Makes no sense for 10 people to blow fireballs into their allies and not damage them. By removing these "Danger zones" and forcing people to actually aim, large groups will not be nearly as popular. This forces squad based warfare which is the intention behind pvp I believe.
  2. Pink war armor: Exclusive to Riley (An old player) Pink fan: Event exclusive Kunoichi gear (Found in sand): Publicly available. Three items that I can think of. You might be on to something here.
  3. +15 to all stats. The Kage is the strongest ninja in the village, give them an extra edge. The argument can be made that "They are Kage because they are the strongest therefor do not need the buff." Same can be said for akatsuki and the other official orgs. Kage's should receive a buff. But now the issue of when they leave kage position and can still equip their robe presents itself. I think with the current engine that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Tie it to the rank. I still think if you aren't the kage you shouldn't be able to equip it.
  4. Remember the closed beta when you could enter a room with up to 4 players on a team with 2 teams and just beat the crap out of each other? I remember that. What could change? . No rewards. Who needs them? This is for fun and last time we got rewards abusers like Jun ruined it for everybody and got it removed. Just make it the same way, walk in, queue up with your friends, and go at it. . Expand the amount of maps. Could be like 3-5 different small in-door arenas that have slight variations. Maybe some could have some cover while others could be just a straight up boxing ring like it used to be. . Expand the amount of potential teams/teamates. You used to have a blue team and a red team with a maximum of 4 players on each team. Make it so that you could have a maximum of 6 teams (24 players maximum) but with a larger or smaller arena size depending on the players. . Make it so that people from all villages can warp to it from their own village but upon exiting, they are moved back to their village to avoid people using it as an easy daily completer/teleporter. Bringing back the old event HQ is something that has been long requested, but was taken out for a good reason. Just remove the rewards and expand on it a little bit and I can guarantee it will be a very well used feature in Nin Online.
  5. Sometimes summons (So far tested with weasel and puppet brigade puppets, but others report that their summons don't work either) will do the attack animation to raid points but deal no damage or gain experience towards leveling the jutsu. Level 7 or higher summons AND the puppet brigade grand puppet will cast their unique jutsu, but their standard melee acts the same as their lower leveled counterparts. I observed this happening originally when the raid points were past the 2 hours remaining mark, but would deal damage correctly with the fresh reset when you could gain the % bonuses still. Recently, however, I haven't been able to gain experience at all towards my summon due to it not actually dealing damage to the raid point despite it going through the animation.
  6. A really good suggestion was made by discord user Nullz#7605 about the fact that during a survey daily, upon entering the guard duty map, a giant text appears above your head with caps saying SURVEYING. This doesn't make any sense. Why would a ninja, a stealthy assassin, scream that he's spying on enemies in the same map. The suggestion is to remove the "Surveying" above the surveyors head, but allow the GUARD DUTY text to display above guard duty missions to allow "GUARDING INTERRUPTED" to display. This method keeps gameplay similar, but allows for surveyors to be stealthy about this mission.
  7. I share your less-than-enthusiastic take on advanced masteries being released (And almost definitely unbalanced), but we can't get to balancing them without suffering through the testing phases
  8. I agree with you when you say that the way PVE balance is handled it is not engaging. Things flickering and one shoting you is not a good way of designing challenging encounters in my opinion. Perhaps a puzzle gimmick or other "Objective" in a boss room to weaken it momentarily or something to be destroyed in the boss room to permanently weaken it could allow for some truly enjoyable content. I also agree with "World encounters" that require a massive number of players to tackle. For villages it's very doable given a lack of friendly fire. For rogues, it encourages the forming of mutually beneficial organizations with that active member player cap.
  9. I agree with that. That said, I would also like more diversity between official org buffs and other advantages to them and possibly the addition of @Yami's Sound 4 suggestion and/or village medical corps.
  10. Hi there, been a while since I've posted. I'm genuinely curious as to what the player-base is more interested in when it comes to updates. For the sake of assisting staff with content releases (Should they choose to acknowledge what is suggested in this forum post), I have limited the "Preffered content update" to one item. However, with the second question I have left it as a multiple choice to help narrow down what players are and are not interested in. Please remain respectful in your replies. I, as a player of many years, would love for staff themselves to ask players directly what they want to see. I'm not throwing any kind of shade; I'm simply saying that I would feel much more engaged in the future of Nin Online if staff would make similar discussion topics. That said, this is not a staff post. It's a post by a regular player who is interested in the opinions of my fellow gamers. Personally, I would like to see less cosmetic updates and would like to see more updates and changes to official orgs. I'll leave that reasoning to another post perhaps. Take note that I am NOT including updates to the client itself in this list. This post is assuming that the client update is the primary focus of the staff team as of April of 2021 and instead focuses on the other aspects of Nin Online's development process both as a side note of the new client and what comes afterwards. Have a nice day/night.
  11. Hi there, the current profile fields are outdated (Sorry to make you feel old @Ueda) please change these fields from this: To this: - Discord (Maybe auto-fill if account is linked to Nin Discord) - Youtube - Steam - Twitter - Twitch - Facebook
  12. This topic has been brought up as many times as @Feinzin nin discord, but here's another suggestion: @Ueda you said you want the game to be a hard-core experience, and that's fine. But the Mist Village is lacking a severe amount of players despite having the most fun organization buff, a fun passive (IMO), the best village weapon, and a really cool village asthetic that you spent over a year working on. Why is it dead despite being a really cool village? The boat ride. Here's my 2 suggestions to change this problem. 1. When a mist ninja VILLAGER (Excluding rogues) goes to the ferry man, he would have a new dialogue saying; "Ah, a fellow Blood Mist ninja. I will help you destroy our enemies by granting you a free ride to the mainland and a faster route." - Free ride and faster route. Maybe by 2.5 minutes to the mainland making it 2.5 minutes there and 2.5 minutes back for a total of 5 minutes sitting on a boat doing nothing instead of 10 2. Reduce the amount of bears spawned in the 2 maps after port. It's awful as a low level mist ninja to have to evade 2-3 maps of very strong and high level mobs. Please reconsider this, @Ueda. Mist village is really cool and you spent too much time and effort to let it die like this.
  13. How about the buff for medical corps a syringe as a melee weapon but instead of damage it heals for 40 HP. Trust me, I'm a pharmacist and I promise this "Medication" is "Legitimate."
  14. Yeah, I updated the topic to +40 instead due to good points being made in Nin discord. And Leaf no longer has those unbearable numbers you speak of. We lost a LOT of players due to the heavy influx of Brazilians switching to their new server.
  15. As I said in discord (For the record here) the maximum viable HP for any level 60 is 1500 HP, unless you are a wm or a tai user and then max viable would be about 1700. So with +40 fortitude (400 HP) the typical guardian would have an average of 1600-2000 hp without the added benefit of extra damage or chakra. That seems quite reasonable to me.
