  1. Greetings Leaf Ninja! I am here to gladly announce our last Event of our term. As you may all know, we are really close to the end of our term, so we are gonna give a farewell with this Event. The following Event will take place this Saturday, 10th of November 2018 at 1 PM EST. It will be a two scaled Event. For the first part, we will have the Event that lot of people loved so far, a Korean Style Event which will have no more than 30 players that can register. Korean Style Rules: There will be three teams which the members will be picked randomly. Teams will have to be lined up, the players should follow the line's order. Two ninja of two different Teams will fight each round. Team's 1 ninja will fight Team's 2 ninja. The loser will go last in his line, while the winner will continue to fight but with the Health he has left from his fight, healing would lead to DQ. Then, if for example the ninja from Team 1 will win, with his current health will continue fighting the first ninja in line of Team 3. If the ninja from Team 1 would win again, he would fight the first ninja in line of Team 2. The goal of each team is to eliminate every ninja of the enemy teams. (More details will be announced during the preparations of the event, with everyone gathered up) Since the line is made up, its prohibited to change it. A ninja can keep fighting till he is dead. Moving on, after the Korean Style Event will come to an end, we will give a 30 minute pause so the people will be able to get ready for the next part, which will be a 2v2 Tournament. No teams limit, everyone with a team of two can join. 2v2 Tournament Rules: No oils, no pills Minimum level will be lvl 30 This double-Event will be exclusive for Leaf only Ninja. Korean Style rewards: Each player of the winning team : 200 ryo Each player of the losing team: 150 ryo MVP: 5$ in Nin Cash 2v2 Tournament rewards: First team: 5$ in Nin cash each player Second team: 1500 ryo each player Third team: 1000 ryo each player. Since this will be the last event being hosted on my term, I want to give special thanks to the Council, @Atrane @Leevi Sasayaki and @Arashi for all their work so far. Also special thanks to the whole Leaf Village for helping me keep our village alive and fun and of course, safe. 3. ok so. I am thinking about doing a hide and seek event. It will either be 1 round for 15,000 ryo or 3 rounds of 5,000 ryo (depending of feedback from this post). I would like GM help to have them stationed at various parts of the game, each GM will be able to TP whoever comes to them to whatever map that GM is assigned to TP to look for me. Before i do this i would like feedback by liking this post to see if anyone is even interested before i waste my time and ryo. (its my ryo so sorry if prizes arent much, unless GM's willing to do coupon prizes too)

  5. This upcoming Saturday, @Ishyn Sasayaki and his council will be hosting a 3v3 sparring event. This event is meant for genins to get to know their Chunin/Jonin ranked ninjas and also meet potential teammates for future Chunin exams. Leaf Genin Draft Event The event will be on August 11th, 2018 and the draft will begin at 1 pm EST. The draft will take place at the Leaf village training grounds. Only Leaf ninjas may participate in this event. Chunin+ ranked ninjas will be drafting teams from the group of genins who show up Each team will consist of 3 genins, and depending on how many people show up some chunins may have to host two teams. Once the draft is completed teams will be assigned a number and a bracket will be set up. Chunins will be teamed up with their genin, however they will not fight alongside them. Chunins will be expected to help their team come up with strategies to take down their opponent. Some examples of things that can be done are "shot calling" in team chat or like telling your team who to focus down. Be creative in finding ways to help your team win! Match Rules Toad oil, Chakra/Blood pills will be ALLOWED. Ties will result in a SUDDEN DEATH match. Things that qualify as a tie would be all 3 members from both teams being knocked out in a match. One example of this is if the last man standing is knocked out from a DoT ability such as poison or burn. The rules for a sudden match will be that each team will select 1 member to fight for them in a 1v1. Whoever is knocked out first in this 1v1 will be the loser. Should another incident happen where both participants are knocked out, the winner will be based on who was knocked out last. Prizes 1st place team - $5 Nin credit each + 5 event coupons each 2nd place team - 3k Ryo each + 2 event coupons each 3rd place team - 1k Ryo each + 2 event coupons each (Event Coupons will only be rewarded to the 3 Genin of each 1st/2nd/3rd place team, however Chunin/Jonin captains will be eligible for the other prizes as well. ) Best Regards, Fourth Hokage and The Hidden Leaf's Council™
  6. Dear Ninja, The Community Manager and the two current Kage, @Deathmall Sasayaki and @TetsuHawk, invite you on March 24, 2018 to join us in celebrating the world of ninja in a full day of festivities and celebration. The ninja festival is a 24 hour event that will begin with the opening ceremony and end with an advanced placement-style PvP tournament. Throughout the day, there will be GM hosted events that you may participate in, and the Kage will have 1,500 Tokens each to divide up as prizes and host their own village-specific events when there is no other events happening to keep the day flowing and active. They will be required to fairly host events to give out these tokens, if they do not use all the tokens, they will be requested to return the amount unused to the GMs (so encourage them to host plenty of events). This festival, we'll be having a new exclusive item called the Dragon Festival Mask. This mask can be obtained for 1,000 Festival Tokens which are a token currency exclusive for the ninja festivals, and may be exchanged for event items at the "Festival Shop" in each village. The shop will be available at 12:00 A.M. EST and will be removed at 11:59 P.M. EST on March 24. Festival Token The festival token is engraved with a dragon's head, and can be used in any future festivals, so stock up - even after you purchase what you want. To obtain these shiny little tokens, you must either participate in events or farm the following mobs: Wolves/Coyotes, Scorpions, Tunnelers, Scarabs (Big/Small), Tigers, White Tigers, Snakes (Bottom and Top), Bears, and Snow Wolves. The drop rate is similar to that of the primary item they drop. For example, a Festival Token will drop at the same rate as snake venom in Snakes, or fur in Tigers. There are plenty of options, so make sure you get to farming! Dragon Festival Mask The dragon mask comes in two colors: Red and Black. Each one is 1,000 Festival Tokens. There will be a present box in the square of your village to claim these masks and other items for tokens. Throughout the day, we'll be having events for you to participate in. All events are 100% Mandatory Peaceful unless stated fighting can be done. Any attacks on the event are subject to jail time. Opening Ceremony - 12:00 A.M. EST We invite you to join us for the first hour to be apart of the opening ceremony that your Kage and I will be hosting to initiate the festival. This ceremony will happen at every festival and any roleplay announcements may be made here by your village officials. This is also a time for you to ask questions, learn more about the event, and roleplay with other ninja. Early Morning Delivery - 3:00 A.M. EST to 5:00 A.M. EST 3:00-4:00 - Leaf Village Delivery 4:00-5:00 - Sand Village Delivery In the next hour, your village will be instructed to deliver a message to the GM hosting the event. During this delivery mission, the defending village may prevent you from getting to the mission location (so long as they are not camping anywhere near the mission location). Anyone who gets to the GM within the hour will receive 100 Festival Tokens. The event will end at 3:59 and 4:59 respectively. (Mission explanation will take about 5 minutes, and you must deliver the correct message.) Hide and Seek - 12:00 P.M. EST to 1:00 P.M. EST For 1 hour, Game Masters will be rotating locations and giving out hints for Hide and Seek. Each ninja to find the location first and find the GM will receive 100 Festival Tokens (only once per person, if the same person keeps getting 1st, then the following ninja to find the GM will get the prize). Ninja Dance Party - 6:00 P.M. EST to 7:00 P.M. EST Every ninja may gather at Tanzaku Quareters (near the entrance of the castle by all the trees) and join us in a temporary Discord channel where music will be playing and you may dance around, socialize, etc. Random Festival Token prizes will be given out throughout the dance party, and we'll likely try to give it to the most lively dancers. If you need a guide on how to dance like a professional, some fellow ninja will help you learn da wae: Ninja Festival Trials (Pre-Registration) - 7:00 P.M. EST to 7:30 P.M. EST Begin gathering near the Tanzaku Quarters entrance to the Castle (same place we danced at) so that we can gather information. You should beforehand acknowledge that there is a small fee of 500 Ryo to enter the Ninja Festival Trials. Ninja Festival Trials (Registration) - 7:30 P.M. EST to 8:00 P.M. EST Game Masters will begin collecting your entry fee, and teleporting you into the waiting area. Ninja Festival Trials (Fights) - 8:15 P.M. EST to N/A The rest of the night, we will be sending you into bracket-made matches against other ninja to show off your skill. Advanced Placement To make things even more exciting, these placement matches will be within certain level ranges, and two prize pools are available for both brackets. 1st Bracket: 30-50 2nd Bracket: 10-29 (must be level 10 to enter) Prizes (For Both Brackets) 1st Place - 1,000 Festival Tokens 2nd Place - 750 Festival Tokens 3rd Place - 500 Festival Tokens All participants will receive a participation prize of 75 Festival Tokens. This prize will be given to you upon paying for your entry into the tournament. Village Specific Events Your Kage will be announcing their own events whenever they'd like beforehand on the forums/discord, so be watching out for those events! Future Ninja Festivals The Ninja Festivals mark the season changes: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. So four times a year, we'll have four different festivals with a new exclusive cosmetic which can be purchased with Festival Tokens. So if you have left over tokens, make sure to save them for future festivals! Summer Festival - June 23, 2018 Autumn Festival - September 22, 2018 Winter Festival - December 22, 2018 Best Regards, Jessica

  8. Dear Shinobi, To all the newcomers on the board, welcome to Nin Online Community! To those returning from old times, welcome back to the community. Nin Online is a 2D Online RPG game based in the Naruto Universe. The game was originally announced in Est. 2006 but was cancelled in 2008. We're back and will be releasing the game very early. More information on this below.. Picking up where we left off! We've decided not to use the assets or engine we created years ago. We've completely started anew, and in the past 2 weeks of development. We did some crazy things! In many ways, we're already ahead of the progress we had when we last left off. Where's Robin and who is this handsome new programmer? His name is Eddie aka. Whack. He'll be taking over Robin as the full time programmer of Nin Online. Robin is busy programming a C# engine in his free time, which is going to revolutionize everything again. He is a competent, talented, fast and hardworking crazy-ass programmer whose coding can keep up with the speed I create graphics at. I'll let him introduce himself to the community below. Q: Naruto fan-games just don't work and this will never happen! A: We beg to pardon. We'll be aiming for a very early release. We've set a tentative launch date, and for now let's just say it's sometime in late July 2013. Which means you have about a month to get ready for Nin Online! This version we release will most likely have very little content for you to play with. We will still be building the world you will eventually play through the storyline, build your own stories and make new friends in, along with cool weapons, jutsus and all kinds of content. But we will open up the server to everyone, so that you can experience the development of the storyline, give us your feedback, and generally help us make the game ready for a full release soon afterwards. Q: Can I play as Sasuke (he's my favorite character in the game)? A: Why Yes! I'm glad that you asked. In fact, upon reaching our character creation screen, you will be given the choice of two characters. Naruto or Sasuke. Everyone will either be a orange-haired demon fox bijuu or the last of the Uchiha clan. I'm kidding. In Nin Online, you play as yourself in the Naruto universe, you path your own destiny and make friends and enemies along the way. Though we plan to launch with only the Leaf village as a playable choice, some players will choose to become Missing-nins, Syndicate ninjas who kill others for bounties. Some may choose to join the Anbu forces. A large amount of people will want to become Hokage. We'll talk about how we plan to choose each role, and the term you will serve as the village leader soon! We'll have more information on the game coming soon. For those who don't believe we'll be releasing in July.. BELIEVE IT! Regards, Rory
  9. Dear Ninja, We had a Chunin Exams event on the 23rd of July, quite a long time ago. Sorry it took us so long to get the recap up. We've cut it up to shorten it and basically showcase the important parts of the event. Let us know if we did anything wrong and we will improve on the next one. @HypnoMan was expected, but he didn't show up on time and had to fill in for him. There may no longer be a voice shoutcaster, we are not sure what you guys prefer. Let us know! This is also still a big work in progress and we are still improving our performances. Our next step is to get Closed Beta out! We know people are salty about losing both Chunin Exams and feel like they were cheated, we won't make each one feel like this and are making improvements. Even though, we want it to be hard - sometimes it can be too hard. We will try to mix it up a bit and not always have the same host. The 3rd Chunin Exams will be hosted by me. Shoutcaster @Seth Editor @Jester
  10. Hello Ninja, In preparation for Closed Beta, I will be hosting a Contest/Giveaway. This contest is a Fan Art contest. All art is welcome, no ones art is too bad, just give it a shot! There will be a theme: Nin Online Themes. This includes Organizations (Anbu, Akatsuki, etc), Nin Online Fan Art, Nin Online Original Character Fan Art, etc. Rules Post your submission in this thread by making a reply. Up to three submissions per person. If you do submit multiple submissions, put them in a spoiler and edit your original post and add your extra submissions. You will not gain any advantage for adding multiple submissions, you will be judged for your overall work and effort. Your art should be 100% your own work, we understand some people are not born artists, we will take it, just draw or craft whatever you can. Plagiarism is very serious, you will be disqualified and warned. You may use Graphic (computer created) art or Paper/Canvas art. You can also craft using wood or clay if drawing or graphic art is not your preference. Your art MUST have content related to Nin Online. Whether it be characters, symbols, logos, or anything. Just make sure it is related to Nin Online! Your art may not contain any offensive or rude comments or imagery. The art should follow all community guidelines found here. Ninja who already have Gold/Silver may participate, however, they will not be able to qualify for any of the Gold Ninja ranks, as we would like to give the rank to people who may not be able to acquire Gold. So this means no Alternate Accounts (to Gold Members) should be applying either. Your submission should look like you put a bit of effort into it, try to not do very simple artwork. (Stickmen, messy and quick sketches, etc.) Rubric Judging will be based on the following. This is available to you so that you understand what we are looking for. Presentation - Entry looks easily presentable, could be understood out of context and overall looks neat. Effort - Entry looks like some hard work went into the creation of the art. Creativity - Entry does not copy a theme in other entries already submitted, has it's own unique twist. Relation - Entry is related to Nin Online in some way. Prizes $25.00 Nin Credit $10.00 Nin Credit 2 Gold Ninja Ranks Special Dates Entries begin immediately. Entries will close on August 24, 2016. Prizes & Winners will be announced August 27, 2016. Judges @Yuko, @Rory, @Akiro Good Luck, Yuko
  11. Dear Ninjas, It's my great pleasure to announce that we will be holding our second Chunin Exams on the 23 July 2016! The event will take place shortly before we launch the Sand Village and move the game into beta phase! Chunin Exams details The event registration will take place at 1pm EST on 23 July and the entire event will commence at 2pm EST. It may last anywhere between 1 - 4 hours depending on how far our Genins make it. Participants are expected to stay throughout the event. You are to form your own teams of 3 before or during the registration phase. Academy Students are not allowed to participate, please promote to Genin rank if you want to participate. Entry fee for each team is 30,000 Ryo, prepare to hand over the in-game currency to Shiken during the registration phase after a GM has verified you through the gate. You then will teleport your team once you have touched the symbol on the floor. There's a way to exit the room, just by touching the symbol on the floor which will prompt you to leave. If you do decide to leave, you may not reenter. As with any Chunin Exam, the Chunin rank will carry forward indefinitely into the Beta phase and beyond. Rules & Regulations In order to run the event smoothly, you cooperation is required, as such, rule breakers will be kicked from the event which may result in his/her entire team's disqualification. Stay in character Unless you need to ask a serious question, stay in character during your crucial times. Remain online and active If you choose to go AFK and you miss your calling, we will not wait for you. If you disconnect, quickly reconnect and inform a GM. Follow instructions of GMs The GMs and myself will be giving instructions to follow throughout the event. Do not spam the chatbox unnecessarily. You may cheer for other players, but not excessively. This is courtesy as our GMs will be giving instructions, flooding the chatbox will make it hard for others. Watching the Chunin Events Live We will be streaming the event Live on our Twitch channel, there may or may not be live commentary. There will also be a highlights video posted on our YouTube channel after. Conclusion For participants of the last chunin exams, you know how tricky everything can be, so be extra careful! Who knows? maybe this chunin exam is entirely.. different? Regards, Rory
  12. Seth's Development Log Event Headquarters Dear Ninja, Event Headquarters is a new place for ninjas to battle one another, apart from Bounties which is coming soon after the Sand Village is released or maybe even when it is. Think of it like Team Deathmatch, but when you die you are sent back to your team base to try again to kill more ninjas! The first team to reach 100 kills, will be victorious. Which means these matches can last quite awhile! It will be out in the upcoming patch 1.9.4. Event Headquarters This area is located east of the Chunin Registration Building, which is also east of the playgrounds. In this area, you will be able to find events which are hosted by players. There is a requirement of participation, but it does not cost anything to start them. You simply just gather enough players to do them. At first, all we are going to have is Team Deathmatch, but later we will expand this area to house a ton of exciting and replayable content for the community to have a great way to PvP together, across even villages. This is a great way to sharpen your skills, before entering the battlefield to kill other players and getting Bounties. Teams The two teams we are going to have are Red and Blue. We will not ever add more than these two most likely. Each team will be teamed together, meaning they will not be able to inflict any damage to their own team members while in this area. Although, once they leave it will go away. For each kill your team gets, you will receive 5 Event Tickets and 10 if you get the killing blow. Once your team is victorious, you will receive 100 Event Tickets vs. 50 if you lose. Event Chest This is the reward chest for your bravery, valor, and well ninja kills. There are tons of rewards, including equipment and ways to level up using Training Scrolls. These items are also bound to your character and cannot be traded. Shops The shops will contain a wide variety of items. Training Scrolls can be upgraded up to level 20, giving additional experience and not costing anything extra to upgrade except a small amount of Ryo... There's also a teleport item to get back to the Event Headquarters every 15 minutes. As a side note, team colored robes are required to be worn when participating in the event, and we will have robes with and without hoods. You simply just equip them before entering, it is a requirement to wear the correct robe before entering and cannot be taken off after entering either. These items will be received upon paying the shop for them which will cost Ryo. They will be kept and likely will be moving the robes from Snake Lair to here, as part of the shop rewards. Players won't care for that right now, but when we wipe they will. Event Battleground The place which battles are placed are in a Event Battleground after being taken into the team base. Each team will be required to have at-least 3 members before battles can start. The maximum size for teams is 5, if the number is over 5 you will instead become a Spectator which goes inside the railing part of the arena. Red will go to the top part where Blue will go to the bottom one. If you have any comments or concerns, post them below. I will correct this post and add more detail if I see fit. Best Wishes, Seth
  13. Dear Ninjas, It's my great pleasure to announce that we will be holding our first ever Chunin Exams on the 23 April 2016! In conjunction with this great event, we will be holding a party to celebrate our progress in developing Nin Online for an hour prior. This party will be a meet & greet session with the developers held in the Marketplace in the Leaf Village. First Chunin Exams details The event registration will take place at 1pm EST on 23 April and the entire event will commence at 2pm EST. It may last anywhere between 1 - 4 hours depending on how far our Genins make it. Participants are expected to stay throughout the event. You are to form your own teams of 3 before or during the registration phase. Academy Students are not allowed to participate, please promote to Genin rank if you want to participate. Entry fee for each team is 30,000 Ryo, prepare to hand over the in-game currency to the GM during the registration phase. As only Leaf Village is available in this version of the game, the Chunin Exam will be held in the Leaf Village, as such, all stages will be in the format of what you may expect from the Leaf. There may or may not be winners who promote to Chunin Rank in this 1st Chunin Exam. However, if somebody does end up promoting, the rank will carry forward indefinitely into the Beta phase and beyond. Pre-event Party We will be holding a party 1 hour before the registration phase of the Chunin Exams, at 12pm EST. This will be a meet and greet session with the developers and a chance for you to form your teams with online players if you haven't already done so. The party event will be held at the Marketplace, located at the North-east province of the Leaf Village. Conclusion Thanks again for supporting Nin Online and we hope to see you at the first ever Chunin Exams! This is going to be a very tricky one. Be on your toes. Regards, Rory
  14. Introduction The forum needs some excitement and some revival, so I got permission from Rory to host a Nin Online Fan Art Contest. The reward for making the best artwork judged by the staff team will receive a Silver Shinobi. As we have noticed, this may not be an appealing reward for everyone, so included with the reward will be a Fan Art forum award. Guidelines Draw as many entries of Fan Art for Nin Online.
