  1. Been playing this game for about 2 weeks now. was impressed at first, as I played a bunch of 2D games on Byond (NFF, BLN, etc.) The early game is pretty good. But the game slows down on content around the mid levels. Especially for Mist. every mission takes 30 minutes+, or longer if you get pked. However, I still found the game enjoyable through that. Then the real problem. Events. There was a war today, supposed to be a pretty hyped event. Everrybody ran to it, and I followed suit. Then began the stupidest event I have ever seen in any game ever. We sat for about 40 minutes for the event to start in a holding area. Okay, fine, the event is ran by the kages and GM's. Not sure why, as this leads to the huge downfall of these events. I was level 32. Not strong, I know. But i wanted to partake in the event just like everyone else. But the kages of the villages get to draft the contestants. And those who did not participate? You get nothing. So. Me, along with many others, sat there and watched others fight for another 2, 2 and a half hours, did NOT get to participate in any way, shape, or form, and did not get any EXP, rrewards, anything. Why are the events run once a month, and why not systematically? this is the worst event system i have played in by far.
  2. Hi there, So i had an idea for a different kind of war event, im not saying this should replace the current one, but it could be fun event. Basically, Extremely Large map (Like CE Forest), A War zone. Each village have a "base", the kage cant leave the base. The goal is to kill the enemy kage. Pills/oils/charms/summons/concealment masks are allowed, everything is allowed. How is this gonna work? Each village Choose X Peoples(I will explain later), they spawn at their base along with the kage, once the timer go 0 and the event begins, its entirely up to them how to go about it. This will require each village to actually have a plan, Who goes out, Who stays with kage, Tactics will be a major thing in this event (And maybe villages will have to pick some non-meta for this like Int wm for traps). Since this is a war zone, There will be friendly fire. People can Still team up to avoid it tho. (the goal is to create a situation where its NOT big raid group vs big raid group but alot of small separated fights happening in the same time, like actual war) Man Power: Will determine how many people each village send to this event, for example if mist got 15k manpower, they will send 15 people, if leaf got 20k, they will send 20 people in. Intel: Same as current war event, Highest Intel village will know the roster of the lowest intel village Economy: There are few options here: 1. same as current war event, used to spawn pills/oils/tools 2. can be used to "Hire" Rouge ninjas to help you in this war.(the rouge will actually get ryo for this.) 3. Can be all of the above + exchanged for more manpower, kage choice how to handle his economy. So, this is just an idea, ig theres alot to improve and it can be taken to alot of different direction, but to summarize it: Pros: 1. RP - This will feel like an actual war. Villages Will have to come up with teams, tactics, and will have to communicate. And since this is a War zone, sneaky tactics are optional like pretend you are from same village, or even someone can turn enemy and betray his village mid-event if he chooses to. Trapping areas around the base will be probably a basic thing. masking the kage so the enemy wont know who to target, etc, theres alot of potential here imo. 2. Less work for the gms - @Ueda Doing amazing job hosting CE And War events, but it requires alot of him atm,. warping people, keep track of who in waiting area and who is not. With this event, theres only preparation work and its done, theres no way to cheat here, no warping no keeping scores. 3. Not a tournament -which are fun af and we all appreciate, but this is something a bit different. 4. A way to get rouges involved. Cons: 1. requires a new big map 2. will probably end faster then current events. 3. cant really stream it since theres alot going on simultaneously
  3. Greetings citizens of Konoha! On the next saturday, 18th of May, I will be hosting an orienteering event. There will be prizes for the 3rd place, 2nd place and 1st place participators. Perhaps there will also be rewards for each riddle you find. Estimated start time: May 18th, starts around 13:00 - 15:00 EST (and it will last for 2-3 hours) Details: Meet up place will be in front of the Kage building. During the event, there will be a Riddle man (me). He will be standing in front of the Kage house and you must go to him to receive your first riddles and the riddles that come after. Your objective is to find the location/person/creature/object/building of what the riddle is describing. How this will work out is that, participators must receive the riddle from "The Riddle Man" then they must go and seek out what the riddle describes. There will be a person at the location of the riddle, participators must meet with the person and receive an item from him, they must then bring this item to "The Riddle Man", he will confirm the item and then they will receive the next riddle in PMs and repeat this process. PS: Once you find the people that give out the items for the riddles, trade with them, and they will handle out the item to you. Process: 1. Receive riddle from Riddle Man - 2. find riddle - 3. receive item - 4. return item to Riddle Man - 5. rinse and repeat (start from 1.) There are 7 riddles and participators will go through them one by one as stated above Teams: Participators are allowed to form up as a team of 1-3. So that means, you can attempt this challenge solo, have a friend with you or have a team of 3. There is strength in numbers, if you are in a team, only one of you will receive the riddle in the PMs and then he must share it to his team in team chat, but the advantage of this is that, only one teammate has to find the right item giver and bring back the item to the Riddle Man, the other teammates can be ready somewhere on the map to look for the next riddle. Rewards: Rewards are still being decided, They will be revealed later in this thread. There is a guarantee Ryo rewards depending on how many riddles you complete. 1st place goes to the team/person that completes all 7 riddles first, 2nd place goes to the team/person that completes all 7 riddles the second quickest and yadayada, you get it. Hence, there are prizes for the top 3 teams and the rest will earn ryo according to how many riddles they complete. Sign-ups: Those that wish to sign up can do so within this thread, or PM me on discord (Lu Xun#8917) or sign up at the spot when the event is beginning or even during the event. -Please state your name if you are solo in your sign up. (The name of your character in-game) -Please state your name and the names of your teammates if you are going in as a team. (and if you want to, you can come up with a name for your team, ex: Team Mac) Area of Coverage: The riddles will not be located beyond Mini bridge map or beyond Tigers map. Hence, they will only be located within Leaf borders for this event. Plan B: If the situation arises that my team of helpers for this event cannot attend and I lack personnel. Then the rule and game system will change to the info below: Riddles are revealed in public chat or /v chat one at a time, while all the participators are in the same map. They must then find it like before, but in this case, I or one of my helpers will standby at the riddles to hand out the items, then you must head back and wait until the next riddle is given. So, this means we will be using a point system, since we're only doing one riddle at a time. This means it will be like this: For every riddle, the first team to find what the riddle is describing will receive 3 points, the second team to find the riddle will receive 2 points and the 3rd team will receive 1 point, the rest will be called back to the Meet up location and the answer will be revealed and then we would move on to the next riddle where same thing applies, points are given to the first 3 teams. By the end, the points will stack up until the 7th riddle is solved and then the 3 highest teams will receive rewards. The rest will receive Ryo for participation. Excited to see you all at the event and good luck!

  5. Hello ninjas! I will be holding an event that will award the winner with Gold Ninja (or 2 cosmetics of their choice if they already have Gold). The goal of the event is going to be to take a picture of your choice and write a background story of how this picture came into being. The picture can be anything ranging from RP, some funny picture you took or just you standing somewhere as long as it has some kind of background to it. The event starts on the day this was posted and lasts for a week. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of pictures and stories you will come up with. :D
  6. Alriiiiiiight! I hosted my second RP session and this time I got more people outside of Hinode to participate. It was a lot of fun. I had prepared.......maybe a bit too much content. I ended up skipping 50% Of the content, this should'Ve actually been split in 3 parts. But nonetheless! It went very well and the main stuff I wanted worked VERY well out, in fact it was looking very desperate and dire but alot of people saved it. I am so thankful for that! The RP was split into 3 "acts" First was classroom, then touring around the village and visiting the clans, and then perhaps some sparring. Well..... I ended up cutting all the topics in the classroom but ONE, for the clans we got 4/5 introducers and that was honestly amazing. And I cut out completely sparring. But that was honestly just my fault haha, this RP could've gone on all day..... I made too much content. But, The preparation was so worth it, I went out and contacted all the official clans and even unofficial ones and asked if they could come and introduce and talk about their clans a little. (I'm sorry Noroime, Kuraen and Hinode that I couldn't give time for those introductions, I Had to cut the RP short since we were already running out of time.) Anyways. My personal best part and the one I was most excited about, the clan visits, went REALLY WELL, It went much better than how I thought it would. We got to the clans pretty late and I expected them to be offline, but in actuality we really got saved by some clan members who showed up and introduced us to the clans. My gratitude, appreciation goes to the following clans and their members: Muteki: @Jarko Suwa: @Takami, @Josh and @Dangan Sasayaki: @Deathmall and @Hashirama Cell Ukiyo: @Shikyou Hayashi: @Seifer and @Yousei Reiketsu Special thanks to @Kuraen MacDom for being there as my planned main teacher and introducer for Kuraen. @Tameshi Hinode As a planned introducer for Hinode and kinda the overseer or bodyguard of the classroom (hehe) and @Noroime Tate For planned introducer of Noroime. (Sorry for wasting your time) Here below you can expect some Picture spam with some texts and at the bottom the full video of the event! We started out in the classroom... Here a lot of things happened, we started with some name games and then we talked about how to strengthen security! (I had planned to do more topics like the previous Hokages of Leaf and organizations but too much time had already passed, so i had to skip it for now) After class there was lunchbreak! And a very special chef had prepared dinner for us Dinner was sushi cooked by the great Dr. Sushi. Although he couldn't make it, he prepared alot of sushi in preparation! After lunch, we headed out for some outdoor activity. Played some dodgeball! The students vs the Teachers................. It was a very one sided and quick match. Now we started to tour and visit each official clan so far. We started with Muteki Ah, this was so funny. Dangan was orinigally supposed to be introducing the Suwa but he had to go for a while. Josh and Takami came in his stead......But I got a whisper from Takami, and I tell you... the sheer panic he had haha "What do say! ;_; I have no idea what to say". Well I covered it at that time by Dangan managed to come online later on and saved it! Up next was Sasayaki! Deathmall told me prior he wasnt gonna make it and that I would have to cover it, but... behold! Cell stood there ready all the time and I was so happy and felt so relieved! This went amazing! Dangan had logged in when we were at the Sasayakis and he really saved it there. He told us a lot of things and in-detail about the Suwa Up next was Ukiyo. Now, Ashido had been with us in the classroom. But I guess he probably fell asleep there....lol. But that was alright, I covered it and I generally knew a good synopsis for Ukiyo. Last but not least! Hayashi. Again, we had someone who came in and really saved the this one. I was told they couldn't make it and so I'd probably had to do some short synopsis. Seifer was around and he noticed us talking about Hayashi. Thus he came and introduced it for us, it was very relieving for me hehe. Yousei also logged in, in time and met us mid-synopsis. Well.... at this point the RP had already gone to 2 hours, sand was showing up and the class went to defend from the incoming raid. I had to cut out the rest of the RP from there and end it. We missed out on a planned introduction of 3 unofficial clans (Kuraen, Hinode and Noroime) and also some little sparring, but overall it was very fun!. Here's the video of the RP event! Last special thanks: To @Hageshi Hinode for recording and @Tekkey Hinode for taking..................500 screenshots..... I'll be sure to keep it save in a good spot. LOTS of memories Timestamps: 13:30 = Where the RP really begins and the Name game 36:60 = Macdom's talk about Security 1:05:30 = Lunchbreak! 1:13:15 = Dodgeball! around 1:20:00 = Clan visits starts with Muteki 1:31:20 = Suwa clan visit 1:37:16 = Sasayaki clan visit 1:42:45 = Suwa visit take #2 1:50:30 = Ukiyo clan visit 1:55:52 = Hayashi clan visit
  7. Good day everyone Yesterday I held a little fun RP session with my clan mates. I had prepared for around a week for it, preparing the stage, the scenarios and dialogue or script. Well anyways it ended up being heavily improvised .... and I came up with lots of things on the spot. We generally had an amazing time together and it ended in a huge success! I prepared a lot of scenes and I'm very glad on how well it turned out with luckily little interruptions. It went very smooth. It felt like hosting a DnD session and being a Dungeon Master haha. Anyways, I wanted to share this fun session and tell you guys about it, We had alot of funny moments. Get ready for the picture spam But first, I want to thank everyone that attended and I want to give special thanks to @Kekiro for being my star actor, @Tekkey Hinode for all the 70!!! screenshots he took and @Hageshi Hinode for recording the WHOLE session. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here we are, gathering and me briefing the mission. The very beginning of the RP. Special thanks to @Yousei Reiketsu for running along with us in the RP and adding in a very cool performance to the RP. On the picture above, we're headed to Tanzaku to receive our mission and further information. We stopped along the way and had lunch hehe, @Phoenix Hinode gave everyone some honey to go along with their food. When we arrived at Tanzaku. A strange man appeared before us. We only saw him for a second when he suddenly disappeared. I went to talk with the lord of Tanzaku and got us a map and info about the mission and also... a good moment where i panicked and realized I forgot to take screenshots along the way haha...... Well anyways in short, our mission was to track down a danger that threatened Tanzaku and eliminate him. I explained how during my childhood I used to spend a lot of time here. But then this mysterious temple suddenly showed up without any prior clue...... This must be the secret place our target was hiding. So we went inside and got ambushed by a pile of snakes that dropped down on our head. We dealt with them and moved on to the next room. Someone wasn't so optimistic that we would've lived....... Inside, we heard a mysterious voice and after a little while, we faced up our courage and prepared to meet him face to face. Two of us had to guard our exit though, and as such they waited there. It was a success, we went in and dealt with our target. But something was strange. Our antagonist controlled all the snakes in the lair, but after we eliminated him. The snakes were still functioning . We headed back to Tanzaku to give our report. We had permission to go in as a group. We would be meeting the Duke of Tanzaku and the Lord of Tanzaku........... Inside we met Kasai, the Lord of Tanzaku and behind her.... Apeared a man......It was the Duke of Tanzaku himself. The duke congratulated us for completing the mission (which was requested by him in the first place) and then he told us we would celebrate it with drinks at the famous Tanzaku Bar! This is honestly my favourite picture. We just look so cool walking down to the bar. We do not condone underage drinking. And as such, Hageshi (the one with the sakkat) Did not drink.....He went home later that night thirsty. When we had enough of drinking at the bar, we headed out but got ambushed the antagonist we thought we had disposed of! But we dealt with him soon enough and later we saw the Duke come out all bruised up. We wondered why..... and oh boy..... yeah lets not talk about that...... But worried if the antagonist might be back, we expressed to the duke our concern, but he said he should be alright and could beat up an enemy in a weakened state, which I replied with the sentence above. Now at the end, I got a link of a video that recorded our whole RP event. It's 2 hour long with some dull parts (we waited for some people who wanted to join in). So if you are interested in watching the whole story, then go ahead ^^. Thanks for the read everyone! It's been fun working on this.
  8. Dear Ninja, The Community Manager and the two current Kage, @Deathmall Sasayaki and @TetsuHawk, invite you on March 24, 2018 to join us in celebrating the world of ninja in a full day of festivities and celebration. The ninja festival is a 24 hour event that will begin with the opening ceremony and end with an advanced placement-style PvP tournament. Throughout the day, there will be GM hosted events that you may participate in, and the Kage will have 1,500 Tokens each to divide up as prizes and host their own village-specific events when there is no other events happening to keep the day flowing and active. They will be required to fairly host events to give out these tokens, if they do not use all the tokens, they will be requested to return the amount unused to the GMs (so encourage them to host plenty of events). This festival, we'll be having a new exclusive item called the Dragon Festival Mask. This mask can be obtained for 1,000 Festival Tokens which are a token currency exclusive for the ninja festivals, and may be exchanged for event items at the "Festival Shop" in each village. The shop will be available at 12:00 A.M. EST and will be removed at 11:59 P.M. EST on March 24. Festival Token The festival token is engraved with a dragon's head, and can be used in any future festivals, so stock up - even after you purchase what you want. To obtain these shiny little tokens, you must either participate in events or farm the following mobs: Wolves/Coyotes, Scorpions, Tunnelers, Scarabs (Big/Small), Tigers, White Tigers, Snakes (Bottom and Top), Bears, and Snow Wolves. The drop rate is similar to that of the primary item they drop. For example, a Festival Token will drop at the same rate as snake venom in Snakes, or fur in Tigers. There are plenty of options, so make sure you get to farming! Dragon Festival Mask The dragon mask comes in two colors: Red and Black. Each one is 1,000 Festival Tokens. There will be a present box in the square of your village to claim these masks and other items for tokens. Throughout the day, we'll be having events for you to participate in. All events are 100% Mandatory Peaceful unless stated fighting can be done. Any attacks on the event are subject to jail time. Opening Ceremony - 12:00 A.M. EST We invite you to join us for the first hour to be apart of the opening ceremony that your Kage and I will be hosting to initiate the festival. This ceremony will happen at every festival and any roleplay announcements may be made here by your village officials. This is also a time for you to ask questions, learn more about the event, and roleplay with other ninja. Early Morning Delivery - 3:00 A.M. EST to 5:00 A.M. EST 3:00-4:00 - Leaf Village Delivery 4:00-5:00 - Sand Village Delivery In the next hour, your village will be instructed to deliver a message to the GM hosting the event. During this delivery mission, the defending village may prevent you from getting to the mission location (so long as they are not camping anywhere near the mission location). Anyone who gets to the GM within the hour will receive 100 Festival Tokens. The event will end at 3:59 and 4:59 respectively. (Mission explanation will take about 5 minutes, and you must deliver the correct message.) Hide and Seek - 12:00 P.M. EST to 1:00 P.M. EST For 1 hour, Game Masters will be rotating locations and giving out hints for Hide and Seek. Each ninja to find the location first and find the GM will receive 100 Festival Tokens (only once per person, if the same person keeps getting 1st, then the following ninja to find the GM will get the prize). Ninja Dance Party - 6:00 P.M. EST to 7:00 P.M. EST Every ninja may gather at Tanzaku Quareters (near the entrance of the castle by all the trees) and join us in a temporary Discord channel where music will be playing and you may dance around, socialize, etc. Random Festival Token prizes will be given out throughout the dance party, and we'll likely try to give it to the most lively dancers. If you need a guide on how to dance like a professional, some fellow ninja will help you learn da wae: Ninja Festival Trials (Pre-Registration) - 7:00 P.M. EST to 7:30 P.M. EST Begin gathering near the Tanzaku Quarters entrance to the Castle (same place we danced at) so that we can gather information. You should beforehand acknowledge that there is a small fee of 500 Ryo to enter the Ninja Festival Trials. Ninja Festival Trials (Registration) - 7:30 P.M. EST to 8:00 P.M. EST Game Masters will begin collecting your entry fee, and teleporting you into the waiting area. Ninja Festival Trials (Fights) - 8:15 P.M. EST to N/A The rest of the night, we will be sending you into bracket-made matches against other ninja to show off your skill. Advanced Placement To make things even more exciting, these placement matches will be within certain level ranges, and two prize pools are available for both brackets. 1st Bracket: 30-50 2nd Bracket: 10-29 (must be level 10 to enter) Prizes (For Both Brackets) 1st Place - 1,000 Festival Tokens 2nd Place - 750 Festival Tokens 3rd Place - 500 Festival Tokens All participants will receive a participation prize of 75 Festival Tokens. This prize will be given to you upon paying for your entry into the tournament. Village Specific Events Your Kage will be announcing their own events whenever they'd like beforehand on the forums/discord, so be watching out for those events! Future Ninja Festivals The Ninja Festivals mark the season changes: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. So four times a year, we'll have four different festivals with a new exclusive cosmetic which can be purchased with Festival Tokens. So if you have left over tokens, make sure to save them for future festivals! Summer Festival - June 23, 2018 Autumn Festival - September 22, 2018 Winter Festival - December 22, 2018 Best Regards, Jessica

  10. Dear Ninja, We had a Chunin Exams event on the 23rd of July, quite a long time ago. Sorry it took us so long to get the recap up. We've cut it up to shorten it and basically showcase the important parts of the event. Let us know if we did anything wrong and we will improve on the next one. @HypnoMan was expected, but he didn't show up on time and had to fill in for him. There may no longer be a voice shoutcaster, we are not sure what you guys prefer. Let us know! This is also still a big work in progress and we are still improving our performances. Our next step is to get Closed Beta out! We know people are salty about losing both Chunin Exams and feel like they were cheated, we won't make each one feel like this and are making improvements. Even though, we want it to be hard - sometimes it can be too hard. We will try to mix it up a bit and not always have the same host. The 3rd Chunin Exams will be hosted by me. Shoutcaster @Seth Editor @Jester
  11. Hello Ninja, In preparation for Closed Beta, I will be hosting a Contest/Giveaway. This contest is a Fan Art contest. All art is welcome, no ones art is too bad, just give it a shot! There will be a theme: Nin Online Themes. This includes Organizations (Anbu, Akatsuki, etc), Nin Online Fan Art, Nin Online Original Character Fan Art, etc. Rules Post your submission in this thread by making a reply. Up to three submissions per person. If you do submit multiple submissions, put them in a spoiler and edit your original post and add your extra submissions. You will not gain any advantage for adding multiple submissions, you will be judged for your overall work and effort. Your art should be 100% your own work, we understand some people are not born artists, we will take it, just draw or craft whatever you can. Plagiarism is very serious, you will be disqualified and warned. You may use Graphic (computer created) art or Paper/Canvas art. You can also craft using wood or clay if drawing or graphic art is not your preference. Your art MUST have content related to Nin Online. Whether it be characters, symbols, logos, or anything. Just make sure it is related to Nin Online! Your art may not contain any offensive or rude comments or imagery. The art should follow all community guidelines found here. Ninja who already have Gold/Silver may participate, however, they will not be able to qualify for any of the Gold Ninja ranks, as we would like to give the rank to people who may not be able to acquire Gold. So this means no Alternate Accounts (to Gold Members) should be applying either. Your submission should look like you put a bit of effort into it, try to not do very simple artwork. (Stickmen, messy and quick sketches, etc.) Rubric Judging will be based on the following. This is available to you so that you understand what we are looking for. Presentation - Entry looks easily presentable, could be understood out of context and overall looks neat. Effort - Entry looks like some hard work went into the creation of the art. Creativity - Entry does not copy a theme in other entries already submitted, has it's own unique twist. Relation - Entry is related to Nin Online in some way. Prizes $25.00 Nin Credit $10.00 Nin Credit 2 Gold Ninja Ranks Special Dates Entries begin immediately. Entries will close on August 24, 2016. Prizes & Winners will be announced August 27, 2016. Judges @Yuko, @Rory, @Akiro Good Luck, Yuko
  12. Dear Ninjas, It's my great pleasure to announce that we will be holding our second Chunin Exams on the 23 July 2016! The event will take place shortly before we launch the Sand Village and move the game into beta phase! Chunin Exams details The event registration will take place at 1pm EST on 23 July and the entire event will commence at 2pm EST. It may last anywhere between 1 - 4 hours depending on how far our Genins make it. Participants are expected to stay throughout the event. You are to form your own teams of 3 before or during the registration phase. Academy Students are not allowed to participate, please promote to Genin rank if you want to participate. Entry fee for each team is 30,000 Ryo, prepare to hand over the in-game currency to Shiken during the registration phase after a GM has verified you through the gate. You then will teleport your team once you have touched the symbol on the floor. There's a way to exit the room, just by touching the symbol on the floor which will prompt you to leave. If you do decide to leave, you may not reenter. As with any Chunin Exam, the Chunin rank will carry forward indefinitely into the Beta phase and beyond. Rules & Regulations In order to run the event smoothly, you cooperation is required, as such, rule breakers will be kicked from the event which may result in his/her entire team's disqualification. Stay in character Unless you need to ask a serious question, stay in character during your crucial times. Remain online and active If you choose to go AFK and you miss your calling, we will not wait for you. If you disconnect, quickly reconnect and inform a GM. Follow instructions of GMs The GMs and myself will be giving instructions to follow throughout the event. Do not spam the chatbox unnecessarily. You may cheer for other players, but not excessively. This is courtesy as our GMs will be giving instructions, flooding the chatbox will make it hard for others. Watching the Chunin Events Live We will be streaming the event Live on our Twitch channel, there may or may not be live commentary. 13. Seth's Development Log Event Headquarters Dear Ninja, Event Headquarters is a new place for ninjas to battle one another, apart from Bounties which is coming soon after the Sand Village is released or maybe even when it is. Think of it like Team Deathmatch, but when you die you are sent back to your team base to try again to kill more ninjas! The first team to reach 100 kills, will be victorious. Which means these matches can last quite awhile! It will be out in the upcoming patch 1.9.4. Event Headquarters This area is located east of the Chunin Registration Building, which is also east of the playgrounds. In this area, you will be able to find events which are hosted by players. There is a requirement of participation, but it does not cost anything to start them. You simply just gather enough players to do them. At first, all we are going to have is Team Deathmatch, but later we will expand this area to house a ton of exciting and replayable content for the community to have a great way to PvP together, across even villages. This is a great way to sharpen your skills, before entering the battlefield to kill other players and getting Bounties. Teams The two teams we are going to have are Red and Blue. We will not ever add more than these two most likely. Each team will be teamed together, meaning they will not be able to inflict any damage to their own team members while in this area. Although, once they leave it will go away. For each kill your team gets, you will receive 5 Event Tickets and 10 if you get the killing blow. Once your team is victorious, you will receive 100 Event Tickets vs. 50 if you lose. Event Chest This is the reward chest for your bravery, valor, and well ninja kills. There are tons of rewards, including equipment and ways to level up using Training Scrolls. These items are also bound to your character and cannot be traded. Shops The shops will contain a wide variety of items. Training Scrolls can be upgraded up to level 20, giving additional experience and not costing anything extra to upgrade except a small amount of Ryo... There's also a teleport item to get back to the Event Headquarters every 15 minutes. As a side note, team colored robes are required to be worn when participating in the event, and we will have robes with and without hoods. You simply just equip them before entering, it is a requirement to wear the correct robe before entering and cannot be taken off after entering either. These items will be received upon paying the shop for them which will cost Ryo. They will be kept and likely will be moving the robes from Snake Lair to here, as part of the shop rewards. Players won't care for that right now, but when we wipe they will. Event Battleground The place which battles are placed are in a Event Battleground after being taken into the team base. Each team will be required to have at-least 3 members before battles can start. The maximum size for teams is 5, if the number is over 5 you will instead become a Spectator which goes inside the railing part of the arena. Red will go to the top part where Blue will go to the bottom one. If you have any comments or concerns, post them below. I will correct this post and add more detail if I see fit. Best Wishes, Seth
  14. Dear Ninjas, It's my great pleasure to announce that we will be holding our first ever Chunin Exams on the 23 April 2016! In conjunction with this great event, we will be holding a party to celebrate our progress in developing Nin Online for an hour prior. This party will be a meet & greet session with the developers held in the Marketplace in the Leaf Village. First Chunin Exams details The event registration will take place at 1pm EST on 23 April and the entire event will commence at 2pm EST. It may last anywhere between 1 - 4 hours depending on how far our Genins make it. Participants are expected to stay throughout the event. You are to form your own teams of 3 before or during the registration phase. Academy Students are not allowed to participate, please promote to Genin rank if you want to participate. Entry fee for each team is 30,000 Ryo, prepare to hand over the in-game currency to the GM during the registration phase. As only Leaf Village is available in this version of the game, the Chunin Exam will be held in the Leaf Village, as such, all stages will be in the format of what you may expect from the Leaf. There may or may not be winners who promote to Chunin Rank in this 1st Chunin Exam. However, if somebody does end up promoting, the rank will carry forward indefinitely into the Beta phase and beyond. There will also be a highlights video posted on our YouTube channel after. Pre-event Party We will be holding a party 1 hour before the registration phase of the Chunin Exams, at 12pm EST. This will be a meet and greet session with the developers and a chance for you to form your teams with online players if you haven't already done so. The party event will be held at the Marketplace, located at the North-east province of the Leaf Village. Conclusion Thanks again for supporting Nin Online and we hope to see you at the first ever Chunin Exams! This is going to be a very tricky one. Be on your toes. Regards, Rory
  15. Introduction The forum needs some excitement and some revival, so I got permission from Rory to host a Nin Online Fan Art Contest. The reward for making the best artwork judged by the staff team will receive a Silver Shinobi. As we have noticed, this may not be an appealing reward for everyone, so included with the reward will be a Fan Art forum award. Guidelines Draw as many entries of Fan Art for Nin Online. It can be done on notepad (take a picture) or with software, which ever works for you! Must be your own artwork, cannot be copied or drawn over work. You can draw any fan art you like, although relevance to Nin Online is a judging criteria. Send all entries to me in private message or in a comment in this thread. (If multiple, put all of them in one post, do not make multiple posts). (Optional) Drawing our 3 man Chunnin team (in the banner) They are Taki (purple hair girl), Shiro (white hair guy) and Kuro (black hair guy) *possible bonus points".
