Don't know why some people can't think of an original name for once. Why not pick something that belongs to an anime, but somewhat has a meaning. I don't know what roleplaying games you go to, but I've never seen one that allows canon names such as Sasuke Uchiha or Uchiha Madara, Obito, etc. To an extent you're allowed to use the name, but don't expect to go far with it. You'll most likely remain Genin for life with a name like that. My spine just tingles when I see the sharingan in someones signature or avatar let alone both.

Well, I have nothing to say about this topic, but after seeing a couple streams of the server I noticed that you get a red name when deemed a player killer. I don't mind the name changing to a color to represent something, but I could barely read anything on the chat since it's just all red. It just doesn't mix well is my opinion. Though, I think everyone should have the same color name unless you're in a group(silver,gold,etc) and it would only turn red if you permanently killed someone. Also, it would be better to differentiate between Perma-Death and just knocking out. For example, if I "kill" John it would say: Sojiro has knocked out John. Now if I actually permanently kill John it would say: Sojiro has killed John in a different color.

Yes, we did. Joking, but we added things like techniques, but I just didn't get to chain link it. It's really hard working with little information about the technique. I need the radius information, the base damage, etc. Only certain techniques have that like Poison Mist and Grand Fireball so yea, it's a work in progress. Thanks and will do.

For starters, Rory said you'll need to prepare a resume to enter into the exams. Not sure if you'll need to do your biography, but this is a RPG so you'll need to be in character mostly. You can still play the game fine, but you won't be able to enter into RPE.

Why would you wanna hold yourself back from getting chunin or participating in any RPE because you can't think of an original name, makes no sense. Oh well though, your choice.

You won't be able to roleplay with that name so eventually if you want to pass Chuunin exams you'll need a new name.

Great feature, now lets say a Gold/Silver shinobi happens to change their name to something wrong they can fix it with a second try haha.

There's going to be Open Alpha 3 a week after Closed Testing phase if everything goes correctly.
