Background

She was named after one of the legendary Sannin, Princess Tsunade as her parents expected her to be a strong kunoichi that would be invaluable to the village. To not disappoint her parents and also have the ability to protect the village where she grew up, she decided to specialise in medical ninjutsu. She swore that she would definitely join Konohagakure Medical Corps one day so that she could also commit her hundred per cent in the Ninja War to reduce the casualty rate of Leaf Village. Not to mention, she always bears in mind of the four rules created by Princess Tsunade for medical ninja.
 

Rules of Medical Ninja

• First clause: "No medic ninja shall ever stop medical treatment until the lives of their party members have come to an end."
• Second clause: "No medic ninja shall ever stand on the front lines." 
• Third clause: "No medic ninja shall ever die until they are the last of their platoon." 
• Fourth clause: "Only those medic ninjas who have mastered the Strength of a Hundred Technique of the ninja art Creation Rebirth are permitted to discard the above-mentioned laws."
