Entry 1: The Academy’s exam.

This was her 2nd time failing at the exam at the academy, she could remember the lessons and pass all of the written exam, but to ask her to be violent and fight was simply out of the question. In truth, she didn’t want to become a ninja like her older sister, nor did she plan on following her younger sister who had passed this time. Emiko was just fine being a regular civilian, but her sisters kept pestering about getting stronger, fighting the war with them, saving people from death since their family are a generation of medical nins. She wasn't interested.

Late in the night, Emiko sat alone in her dimly lit room, reading up on the same lesson she was taught a year prior when her earpiece came to life.
She was given this device to her by her sister Miseray, who uses it to communicate with other Ninja’s while on missions and occasionally would speak to them when she would return home far late into the night. Now with Sofu becoming a ninja, Emiko has been at home to herself a lot longer these nights than before and her little sister not wanting Emiko to be lonely, Sofu would typically talk to her through her earpiece to keep her big sister Emiko company. So it wasn’t weird at all to hear it buzzing to life in her ear as she studied, however it wasn’t Sofu’s voice she was hearing over the radio. “Emiko… You need to get to the Hospital…” Miseray’s voice spoke through the speakers, a tone weighted with anxiousness and fear was carried with it. A chill crept through her body as she sat there, she wanted to ask what was wrong, but she already knew that Miseray would have just told her to show up for the answers.
Leaving everything at her desk she run through the dark hallways of the quiet home and into the night for the hospital.
Non-stop she ran and reached the complex within minutes where Miseray stood there leaning against the door frame, anxiously tapping away at her side. They didn’t say much of anything as Miseray lead Emiko through the hallway of subtle beeping of monitors and injured patients, be it Ninja or Civilians.
Emiko’s heart was pounding in her chest as she followed quickly behind her older sister, it was then she had noticed the bandages wrapped around her body and arm. It wasn’t very noticeable in the darkness outside, but now all it did was hang a sense of doom as the reached the end of the hallway where Sofu was kept. The silence between them was driving Emiko mad and before she took a step further she stopped and so did Miseray. Taking a moment to collect herself she spoke in a shaken tone. “Is she alive…?” The look in Emiko’s red eyes was almost communicating the panic she was feeling. Miseray set her jaw as she looked at her younger sister in the eye. “Yes, but…”
“But?! Miseray what happened to our little sister!?” She almost shouted this at this point and without warning Miseray grabbed her arm and pulled her into the hospital room with Sofu. As she entered the room Emiko’s heart had sunk into her stomach. In the bed facing the doorway, her little sister laid there with her eyes closed and a bandage wrapped around her head, cover her left eye, a blood stain where it should be.
Emiko tripped over her own feet trying to get to the bedside where she stood looking over her. It took only a glimpse for Miseray to explain how, during their training mission, they were attacked by a unknown rogue who had targeted Sofu and proceeded to remove her eye…

Entry 2: Stronger One Day

“Why do you keep going back to train on tigers?!” Sofu was getting frustrated with her elder sister. Almost every time she saw her now, she was typically wrapped in bandages and sitting in a hospital bed waiting to recover. “It far to dangerous out there, just get stronger in the village Emi…” She pouted, staring her sister hard in the face. Emiko merely laughed at the suggestion and placed a hand on Sofu’s head patting her. “Calm down, it’s alright. What’s a little battle injures going to do to me? It just means I need to get stronger!” Emiko gave her strongest arm flex she could muster.

Panting heavily she fell to her knees, sweat dripping from her face as she tried catching her breath. How many times has she tossed her around today and it wasn’t like she was even trying. “Remember, you can’t let your enemies heal, try again.” her voice was stern, but this was a way to teach her discipline. @Yousei Reiketsu stood there, the faint blue glow from her hand faded as did the minor cuts on her arms and stomach. There was a lesson she wanted to convey, but only through pain could she make this girl understand, normal means were not an option.
Emiko raised her hand up to let her know she wasn’t ready, through each intake of breath she spoke to her mother, who has now assuming the role as instructor she spoke. “I think… I get it… I understand what I have to do.”
Curious Yousei raised an eyebrow, but before she could speak her body’s natural reaction leaned over to dodge the incoming shurikens flying past her face. This sudden burst of energy from Emiko took Yousei by surprise, under any normal circumstances she would have been beaming with pride, but right now she was facing a threat and needed to dodge yet another one of Emiko’s attacks.
Even though she wasn’t taking damage, Emiko’s attacks were relentless, each one after the other, it kept coming. She wasn’t giving Yousei time to retreat back into the trees, much as Yousei advised during this session.
She had no choice but to fight her. Pulling her sword she struck back, but what she attacked was a log, behind her she didn’t have time to react as she took a poison Kunai straight to the back, followed by a shuriken striking her shoulder. Emiko struck with her Kunai, but hit only a log in Yousei’s stead, the situation had changed and all Yousei needed was a small opening which was granted by her nonstop attacks. It was a quick attack, but the pain was enough to knock her senses out of focus, being stun like this was dangerous and Yousei made certain that she understood what it felt like.
One after another she stuck her with the blade and each cut left it’s own lesson in combat. Emiko’s body was sent flying forward and was sliding across the dirt path. Stopping just in the center of the road leading into the village, pushing herself, Emiko stand to her feet, struggling to reel her mind back from the shock, she didn’t have the time. Yousei’s blade glowed as she lunged at her for another blow, but with whatever primal instinct she had she managed to retreat back into the forest, far from her striking path. She leaned against a tree holding herself stead against the bark of it. She took this time to take a blood pill, something to help her stand a chance against her. “I’m proud of you, you managed to get some damage in.”  Yousei held her sword out by the side as she walked around the pathway towards Emiko’s hiding spot.

Thud! Emiko’s back hit the bark of the tree hard, knocking the wind out of her lunges. She grasped at her chest desperate for a breath much as Yousei sheath her swords, back into place. “That will be the end of this training session.” Yousei’s words carried no weight to them as she approached her reeling daughter. Emiko took a deep breath and began coughing as Yousei kneeled down to heal her wounds. “You’ll get the hang of it, I promise little one.” Yousei smiled her as she watched the wounds begin closing along Emiko’s pale skin. She gave Yousei a sweet smile before she spoke. “One day, I might be stronger than you!” Yousei gave a small laugh before patting her head and nuzzled her nose sweetly.

“One day little one, One day…”

Entry 3: The Station

Hurried footsteps was all that could be heard near the pathway past all the tigers, keeping herself away from the vicious beings she leaped into a tree away from their claws. She had to deliver the bounty she managed to collect not 3 days ago after her village was raided, luckily she and her sisters had lived through it that day, but the hospital was as busy as a bee colony.

She leaped from the tree and onto the ground, heading towards the bounty house, her ears alert and body ready for all coming attacks. Leading onto the dirt road she couldn’t help, but feel strange about how quiet the whole place was, the bounty house was in walking distance and so close to finishing the mission. Even though even fiber of her being was telling her to turn back and wait, she moved forward towards the station. 3 steps in she reacted, leaning backwards as senbons whizzed past her head and sticking into the tree bark just beside her.
She backed off then, heading for the tree line and taking cover, as quickly as it had happened, 3 figure emerged from the shadows, running away from the station and towards Takumi. As if things couldn’t get any worse, the Ninjas’ gleaming headbands revealed their home name; Konoha. She clenched her fist, remembering the rules of her village that was beaten into her brain.

Following the treeline she caught up with the two leaf Ninjas and closely watched one stop to regain his chakra, quickly she moved to heal him, her hands making the signs for cell regeneration. At the distance she was in she managed to cast it from her position, making sure to give the fellow Ninja enough support to keep fighting. He gave a silent nod and went to catch up with his friend, Emiko following behind. Several fireballs were shot in their direction, 2 landing it’s mark on the weapon master as he ran forward sword drawn and ignoring the burning all over his body. He stuck his blade into the enemy’s side, leaving a deep gashing wound in his torso.
Setting her jaw, she focused her healing techniques on the burning Ninja relentlessly attacking the wounded. While making the hand signs, she was interrupted by the sudden pain she felt in her chest. Stopping in her tracks she peered down at senbons lodged in her chest, the tools, not only dripping in her blood, but the purple substance as well. She was poisoned, but from where!?
She backed off,  towards the tree and pulled the weapons from her chest, a hand putting pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. She looked up a second too late as the face of a pale white skinned man lounged for her, his arm glowing in chakra. She tried to dodge him, but the second he slashed his hands at her, the small injury of the senbons, opened into a deep laceration across her chest. The attack sent her flying backwards, being stopped by the tree behind her, she hit her back hard as she reeled in pain. She didn’t have time though, getting to her feet, she made the decision to run for it, if she were to die here, the other two would lose their support.
Almost on cue the body of her fellow leaf Ninja was sent smashing into the ground in front of her, his body had stopped moving a long time ago as blood trailed from his body. She had to leave!
Taking a glance behind her the white skinned man was chasing her, tossing more senbons at her, her last hope being that the other Ninja was managing better than his friend. She ran for it, however not without having senbons piercing her skin, sending waves of pain through her body.
Gritting her teeth, she bared it and ran for it, she was far too weak to take on enemies like this. Before she could get to the other side of the station, she was stopped in her tracks once again, as the senbons dug deep into her legs halting her movements. She fell forward, landing face first into the dirt and her fear running high as she turned watching as the enemy medical Ninja walk towards her, his hands covered in chakra and fined to a point. Emiko being unable to move just looked up at her attacker, his body was entirely white, but his eyes were an emotionless void. She’s seen this face before, she knew who he was and yet there was nothing she could do to stop him.

@Azhura, One of Rogues best medical Ninja.
