I actually think this would be an amazing change to things, i've talked with at least one person who has been farming bosses for weeks with no drop. It had demoralized them and as they always say, where there's one there's many more like them. It would also help literally every player aspiring to be a tai mastery, cause the most basic version of weapons for them costs like 100k ryo in game from players. Or you gotta get a group and catch the boss not being farmed by 10 other groups doing what you are doing.
